They say when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. What happens when life gives you an organ-stealing cult, a horror game come to life, and drug-dealing drama all while you're trying to have a normal junior year of high school? Savanna Marrows is...

At some point through the early hours of Wednesday morning, Archie Andrews arrived back in Riverdale. In a great condition? Not so much, but he was back. He was home, and that's all that mattered. There was no doubt his time away had been challenging, but there was relief knowing he was in Riverdale once again.
"I seriously need to start putting this on do not disturb," I groaned as my phone vibrated again against the glass nightstand next to my bed. I flopped on my side, hesitant to pull out of Jughead's grasp to answer it. "Hello?" I grumbled as I collapsed back into the pillows.
"You would be asleep right now. Whatever, your presence is needed at Pop's. Asap, sister dearest," Veronica's voice was ringing in my ear as I attempted to wake up. I had literally just fallen asleep.
"It's-" I paused to look at the clock, "11:30 at night!" I defended, "Why do we have to go to Pop's?"
"Archie's back." Without another word she hung up, leaving me in silence.
With a sigh, I slammed my phone into the comforter and rolled over to face my half-asleep boyfriend. "We have to go," I mumbled as I brushed a few pieces of hair out of his eyes.
"You're joking," His voice was raspy as he continued to blink the sleep out of his eyes. "This after 10 thing needs to stop. I need serious beauty rest."
I rolled my eyes and sat up, Jughead's shirt falling onto my thighs with the movement. "Apparently, Archie's back and Veronica's freaking out."
"Took him long enough," Jug exhaled as he too sat up, the comforter pooling around his waist before he shoved it aside and stood up. "Let's go to Pop's then."

"Two chocolates, two vanilla, and a root beer float for Archie," Pop Tate placed the infamous shakes in front of us as our group joined together. "Welcome home, son."
"Thanks, Pop," Archie smiled in return as he accepted his dessert.
Betty was the first to speak up, "Since when do you drink root beer floats?" She asked as she handed Pop her card.
Archie, dark-haired, no longer a carrot top, Andrews shrugged his shoulders. "Guess I'm just not in the mood for a strawberry milkshake."
"New drink, new hair, new haunted, vacant look in your eyes," Jughead would've continued by Veronica decided to interrupt him.
"Guys, Archie just lived through The Revenant. Let him order what he wants," She commented.
"So what'd I miss while I was gone?" Archie asked the loaded question that I don't think anyone really had a solid answer to.
Veronica spoke up, "Well, thanks to the town quarantine orchestrated by my father, Pop's was shut-down and just reopened. And he's also been attacking shipments to the speakeasy, but, thankfully, I've hired the Serpents as my full-time protection, and that service extends to you, Archie."
