I'm A Runaway

I'm a runaway.
I'm a lost cause.
I make others pay,
Just because.

He told me he believed in us,
But it doesn't take much for me to throw him under the bus.
I told him I never regret it,
He said he doesn't believe me and just like fire I was lit.

Passionate nights,
Preventing another of our fights.
We were searching high and low,
For something that would make us say wow.

He said he wanted me,
I lied to him and I said me too feverishly.
He believed in that,
But he doesn't realise I'll always leave him flat.

Tonight I'll sing our song,
Because us is what for awhile I want to prolong.
I'll love you always and forever,
Because you take me higher than a fever.

I need you more than just in my bed,
And you're gonna be the one I wed.
Blessed by fate,
And it'll never be too late.

But I'm a runaway.

I never stay,
