He Serenades Me With His Guitar

He serenades me with his guitar,
And looks at me like I'm his shining star.
The love between us is so good I could cry,
Maybe even die.

But I know he's too good,
It's not me who'll hold him and I understood.
Sometimes you just have to let go,
Just let your tears flow.

Don't misunderstand me,
But the differences between us makes it unlikely.
I look at him like he's a God,
Altough our love is odd.

He'll never be mine,
And in the end I'll be fine.
Let's do dinner and dine,
Let me offer you your favourite wine.

I'm still haunted by my regrets,
And I tell him all my secrets.
I'll probably be the one he forgets,
Atleast that's where I'm placing my bets.
