It's so easy to love him right,
Effortlessly through the dark and light.
Every day is like a vacation,
Focusing on building a solid foundation.
Sure, I'm still growing and learning,
But with him nothing really feels concerning.
Lost in our own paradise,
No need to act like sugar or spice.
He tells me how he feels like a man,
While making me feel more than a human.
Discovering something new every day,
No need for keeping the bad feelings at bay.
I'm just being honest,
Focusing on now and trying not to promise.
For tomorrow we might die,
And I know it's going to hurt when I fall from the sky.
I know sometimes I cover up the truth and lie,
But I try to stop and for you I retry.
You teach me and show me passion,
Our love will always be in fashion.
They tell me I'm crazy,
When I tell them you might be the one.
But I can't see anyone else I would marry,
And I won't stop even when you act like you're done.
I know you,
My ride or die.
From the ashes we grew,
Only when I hurt you I cry.
