Tim's POV:
I sit down next to her bed and brush her hair out of her face. I sit for awhile before I see her stir.
"Hey baby." I whisper rubbing her hand. Dr. Carson said she can't talk for the rest of the day and maybe tomorrow. She looks exhausted.
"Honey you can go back to sleep." I whisper brushing her hair away as she yawns. Maggie falls back asleep and sleeps for another thirty minutes. Dr. Carson comes walking in.
"She should be good enough to move out of recovery and into her room. She does need to rest though for the rest of the day and the following days." He says checking her vitals. I head down back to her room.
"Hey." Faith states when I walk in.
"Hey. A group of nurses are bringing her down. She's not allowed to talk for a couple of days and she's super sleepy. Dr. Carson said she just needs to rest." I state sitting down next to Faith. A minute later a group of nurses roll Maggie in. She's half awake.
"Hey baby." Faith whispers grabbing her hand. Maggie can barely keep her eyes open.
"Do you want me to take them home so she can sleep?" I whisper to Faith.
"Yeah. She needs to sleep." Faith whispers.
"Hey kids, lets head home. Your sister needs to sleep." I state helping Sam put his jacket on.
"Bye momma."
"I'll be back in a few." I state walking out of the room with the kids.
Faiths POV:
I check through my emails as Maggie sleeps. I hope after this surgery she gets better and can come home soon. Tim gets back about a hour later.
"Were the kids good?" I ask softly.
"Yeah. My mom is hanging out with them for the day. I told her I would head back around 8pm." He sighs sitting down next to me.
"Hopefully she'll be fine after this surgery." I state looking towards Maggie.
"I hope so. I want her home." Tim sighs. Tim and I talk for about a hour before Maggie wakes up.
"Dad can you turn on the tv?" Maggie writes.
"Yeah hon." Tim states turning on a movie for her.
The Next Day:
Tim's POV:
"Hey dad." Maggie says snapping me out of my thoughts. Faith is taking a nap.
"Yeah hon?" I state sitting up.
"When can I start walking again?" Maggie whispers hesitantly. She's been super hesitant to ask questions.
"Dr. Carson said hopefully by tomorrow you can move around." I say giving her a soft smile.
"Ok." Maggie states content but upset still.
"Baby I know it sucks, but you're slowly getting there." I state softly.
"I just want to be home." Maggie breaks down.
