Hey…I’m going to skip forward some months. Brayden is now five months old.

Bray’s first Christmas passed, as did new years, and soon it was March.
“He’s so big.” I smiled down at my four month old. He was lying in his crib, holding onto his foot. His eyebrows were furrowed and his mouth was in an ‘o’ shape, drool on his chin.
“He’s really concentrating, huh?” Alexis grinned at me.
“Yeah.”
“So when’s Nolan getting off work?”
“A few hours.” I said. “Hey, Bray.” I cooed softly. He stopped what he was doing and smiled, cooing back at me.
“He’s so cute! I want one.” She sighed.
“Are you planning on having one anytime soon?”
“We’ve been trying for a while now. No luck.” She said. “And…we went in for fertility testing last week.”
“Really? I hope it all works out for you two.” I sighed.
“I know…I want a baby so badly.”
The front door opened and we heard someone run up the stairs before mom popped her head in the room.
“Guess what?!” She said excitedly. “Ethan has a girlfriend!” She squealed, walking in the room.
Alexis and I grinned at each other. “He does?! What’s her name?” I asked.
“Savanna.”
“She sounds so pretty.” Alexis sighed happily.
“She’s coming over to our house.”
“Ooh! Do we get to meet her?” I asked and Mom nodded. “Kay…well can you help me get Bray’s diaper bag together?”
“What do you need?” Alexis asked, scanning the room.
“Um…a change of clothes, diapers, his blanket and stuffed animal.”
“Got it!” Mom and Alexis said at the same time.
“Thanks.” I said, lifting Brayden out of his crib and he let out a soft giggle.
“So…are you planning on having anymore?” Mom asked.
“I want one more at most. Not for a while, though.”
Alexis tickled Bray’s tummy. “Girl or boy?”
“Girl, definitely.”
“You two will have the prettiest girl baby.” Alexis said. “Can I hold him?” I nodded and handed him to her.

“Hi Savanna! I’m Regan.” I smiled brightly at the blond haired, grey-eyed beauty pressed into Ethan’s side. She looked incredibly nervous.
“Hi.” She said shyly,
“This is Brayden.” I said, pointing to the baby in Alexis’ arms.
“Your son?” She asked, smiling slightly at the babbling child.
I nodded. “Do you want to hold him?” I asked and she looked at me in surprise.
“Can I?” She asked, smiling a little wider.
“Of course!” I said, taking him from Alexis and handing him to Savanna. “You like kids?”
