"Kay, so I just got a text from Ethan. He just met up with mom and dad, and they're all hungry." Nolan informed me.
I stood up and stretched, "I am too. Where are they going for food?"
"The Moose Lodge."
"Is it good?" I asked.
Nolan nodded. "It's pretty fantastic."
My stomach grumbled loudly and I looked around awkwardly. "Let's go!"
"Someone's hungry. That, or there's a thunderstorm approaching." Nolan smirked.
"Shuddup." I mumbled. "Let's just go."
*
"That moose needs to die." I grumbled, glaring at the electronic moose head on the walls.
"Bray's enjoying it." Mom observed, nodding towards Brayden. He was giggling and babbling nonsense.
"It's still annoying." I said. There were two moose heads that were singing. There was also a full sized moose in the middle, which, no doubt would start singing in a few minutes.
"Relax, Reg. It's supposed to be fun!" Nolan said brightly.
"It's annoying, that's what it is." I said as I munched on my French fries.
"I'm gonna have to agree with Regan." Ethan grimaced. "I'm currently plotting their demise." He grumbled, glaring at the electronic animals.
"Me too!" I said.
"High five!" He grinned, leaning across the table.
"You two are so weird. I actually think it's kind of cute." Savanna smiled.
"She's a preschool teacher, ignore her." Ethan smirked.
"Oh shut up, doofus." She replied, shoving him.
He gasped in fake horror. "Why Miss Savanna! Doofus is a naughty word."
"See what I have to put up with?!" She exclaimed, smiling slightly.
"I apologize, dear. We may have dropped him on his head as a baby." Mom said, shaking her head.
*
"Regan! Ethan and Savanna are gonna take me on a roller coaster!" Izzy exclaimed.
"A roller coaster? Are you sure?"
"She really wants to go on Riddler's Revenge." Ethan said.
"Is she tall enough?" I asked worriedly.
"We measured. She's fine."
"I don't know..."
"She's already been on Batman." Savanna said, placing a hand on my arm.
"And you like them?" I asked in shock, looking at my younger sister.
"Yeah! They're so fun! Come with me, Regan" She said, clasping her hands together.
"I don't like roller coasters." I said, shaking my head.
"Please? Please? Please? Please?" She asked, looking at me with puppy dog eyes.
I sighed in defeat. "Fine." She knew my weakness.
"Are you sure, Reg?" Nolan asked worriedly.
"I'm a sucker for her puppy dog eyes." I sighed.
"Hey, Izzy, I can go with you."
"I want Regan." She replied stubbornly.
"Alright. I'll be waiting with a bottle of water." Nolan told me, placing a kiss on the top of my head.
*
"How was it?" Nolan asked when I managed to walk out of the roller coaster, into daylight.
"Never again." I muttered.
"Are you feeling okay?" He asked and I shook my head and he led me to a trashcan where I emptied my stomach. "Better?" He asked when I was done.
"Yeah, thanks." I said, taking the water bottle from him.
