The inside of the house was just as beautiful as the outside, and Nolan and I decided to buy it, and were moving there next week.

The next four months passed in a blur, Alexis and Gavin had a healthy baby boy and named him Andrew.

Brayden turned one last week, and was showered with presents, not that he cared about any of them, he just wanted to play with the boxes and smash cake on his face.

“Alright, Regan…Nolan, are you ready to find out the sex of the babies?” The ultrasound technician asked and we nodded.

“Please be a girl, please be a girl.” I whispered, closing my eyes.

“It looks like…identical twin boys.”  She informed us and I sighed sadly.  I don’t think I’m ever going to have a girl.

“Thanks.” I muttered glumly.

“Aww, cheer up, Reg.  We’re gonna have three boys.”

“It’ll be like you and your brothers.”

“I loved having two brothers.”

“But I wanted at least one girl.”  I sighed, tears pricking my eyes.  I sniffled and wiped at my eyes.

“Are you crying?”  Nolan asked incredulously.

“I just wanted a girl!” I wailed.

“Sweetie…we can always have more kids.”

“B-but I don’t want anymore…and they’d probably just be more boys anyways.”

“Calm down, honey.”  Nolan soothed me as I cried.

I laughed tearily. “I can’t believe I’m crying over something so stupid.”

“Wanna go get ice cream?”

“Ice cream?” I perked up. “What kind? Chocolate?”

Nolan chuckled. “Whatever kind you want.”

“Can we go now? ‘Cause I really have to pee.”

“Hi baby!”  I greeted Brayden enthusiastically.

“Mommy!” He shrieked, holding his hands out to me.

I grinned and picked him up. “How was he?” I asked mom.

“He was great.  I fed him lunch already, and he seemed tired but didn’t want to sleep.”

“You tired, Bray-Bray?”  I cooed and he buried his head into the crook of my neck.

“So am I having any granddaughters?” She asked excitedly.

“No.” I sighed. “Two boys.”

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine.  You had three boys, and they turned out semi-normal.”

“Nolan!” Ethan yelled, coming in the house.  “Gavin, Keegan and some other dudes from the neighborhood want to play football.  You in?”

“Are you kidding me? Of course!” He yelled excitedly, causing Brayden to jerk awake and whine.

“Nolan, inside voice.” I snapped.

“Sorry!” He said, running outside.

“I’m going to go put Bray upstairs.”

“I’ll do that; go sit down, you look tired.” She told me, taking Brayden from me and walking upstairs.  I walked over to the couch and collapsed into it, falling asleep.
