Three days later
Toni pov
"Im sure he gone come around he just need some space." Towanda says while we were on the phone.
"I guess. I'll call you back love you." I hung up the phone and finally got out the bed. I was tired of being sad so i decided to go shopping.
I took me a shower and got dress in a simple rep crop top and white jeans. I slid into my red puma slippers and grabbed my purse.
THE MALL
I went into all my favorite stores using the debit card Clare gave to me. He told me i can have it and i never used it until now. This card had miles on it, but i just got me 2 chanel bags some Louis Vuitton's and some lingerie. I went to the cafe to get me a drink when i saw him at the table some chick was on the other side and the beautiful little girl sat in his lap.
I wanted to cry. He could at least called me and said he was okay. He must have been too busy with his playdate to call me. A part of me wanted to let it go because he told me she rarely let him see her and looking at her she was too busy playing with her nails then trying to have family time, but i didn't know what to believe at this point.
I got my drink and left. I pulled up to my house and Kenny's car was in my driveway. I grabbed my bags and went inside. There he was in my snack cabinet.
"This is breaking and entering." I said and he looked up at me licking his lips.
"Not when you have a key. You look sexy." He said and i smiled grabbing my cookies from him.
"Thank you. Why didn't you call me." I said as we sat on the couch.
"Because i came here for some food and i have a key so." I punched his arm.
"Greedy ass." I rolled my eyes.
" keep yo eyes and hands to yo self Toni." He said and i cleared my throat.
"So."
"Where yo man." Really
"I rather not fill you in on my love life." He chuckled.
"Trouble in Paradise sadly."
"Kenny shut the fuck up."
"Ion know who the fuck you talking too. You got with this nigga and forgot how i work.*grabbing her chin so she could see him* dont write a check you cant cash cause I'll fuck yo lil ass up with him watching. and I'll gladly beat his ass after." He said letting go of me. I bit my lip and crossed my legs.
I watched as he stood up and grabbed his keys.
"Kenny wait. Don't leave." I found myself saying
"Why so you can tease the fuck outta me." He said.
"No because we havent spent time together as best friends in a long time and i kinda need someone to keep me company."
"Alright how you feelin."
"Lonely i been by myself in this house 4 3 days. No sister's no boys and no clarence." I said pouting.
" put yo lip up. What i told you about looking like that." He said.
"Who daddy you think you is."
"Clearly yours since i had you screaming it. dont act like you not scared of this dick." I covered my mouth, but what made it worse was that it was true. He hurted me and i would be scared to disrespect him knowing he was gonna put that shit in me.
"Not my fault you stretched my walls and was in my belly." I said pointing to the bottom of my stomach. He just started to laugh and it wasn't funny.
"Stop times i really couldn't move."
" i know."
"How about we change the subject how are you." I question
"I got that nasty bitch out my house so im good cause that hoe was giving me grey hairs with all the arguing she was doing." I couldn't help, but chuckle
We talked for a little while longer and he said he had to leave.
"Imma see you later beautiful." He said wrapping his arms around me.
"See you." I kissed his cheek as he let me go. He grabbed his keys and left.
I took my bags upstairs and took a shower changing into a sports bra and shorts. I went downstairs and turned on the TV. I made me some popcorn and found something to watch on Netflix
9:40 PM
I opened the door and clarence stood there and i sighed and let him in.
"I know you mad at me and im sorry. It's just you looked scared of me and the look in your eyes made me angry that you seen me like that. So for the past two days i was home until today when my baby momma called me and said i can see my daughter. Im sorry for not calling i just needed some space." He said and i nooded going back to my popcorn.
"You aint gone say nothing."
"I believe you if that's what you want to hear. Clarence i love you. You can't just leave and think im not gonna feel some type a way. I just wanted you to call me or send me a text. dont have me worrying when i dont have to."
