I walked into the jail house and sat at the table waiting for them to bring kenny out.
My eyes lit up happily when he came out. The officer took off his cuffs and i ran into his arms hugging him tightly.
"I missed you daddy." I said and he grabbed my waist tonguing me down.
"That's too much touching." The officer said.
"Shut the fuck up. Dont you see i miss my women." Kenny said. I swear his mouth get him in so much trouble.
The officer huffed and mentioned for us to continue and we started to kiss again.
"I couldn't sleep without you last night." I said when we sat down.
"Me either. Them gay ass men in there aint in the closet." He said.
"Eww. When are you coming home." I ask.
"I dont know. My trial is in two days so i gotta be here until then. It all depends on the judge." He said making me sad. Another 2 night's without my man.
"What i told you about looking like that. Its gone be alright." He said and i nodded.
"Kenny you gotta stop being violent or at least not in public." I said.
"Naw you just need to stop looking the way you do." He said.
"What that mean." I asked frowning.
"That you mine. You so fuckin sexy that niggas be tryna do too much. When dude said what he said to you i reacted and when that officer grabbed you i had to swing his ass out. Im crazy bout you yo. You make me wanna kill these niggas." He said sliding his hands down his face.
"Im yours only. I promise i only wont u." I said grabbing his hand
"Times up." The officer said.
"But I Just got here." I whined.
"Baby go I'll call you tonight." He said
"Promise."
"I promise." He said giving me a kiss
"I love you baby." I said sadly.
"I love you too princess." He said giving me a final kiss.
Shortly I ended up leaving feeling hurt.
2 days later
The family sat in court. Kenny, His mom and I would go on trail and so will Nichole and her dude.
" yes i won't lie my son can be violent at times but it's always a reason behind it y'all didn't even get the full clip only that he punched that man." She said
"Ma'am either way that was Assault. No matter what was said that doesn't give you the right to dislocate anyone's jaw." Their lawyer said causing her to scuff.
"Do you have kids or a wife." She asked.
"Yes but what does that have to do with anything."
"The most important thing is making sure your kids and your women is safe. If a man is not treating your daughter right and you talk to him in a calm manner and he end up disrespecting your wife what are you gonna do and that's all Imma say."
I heard Tamar mumble a period making me laugh lowly. She left from off the stand and Nichole went up.
"Now I understand it was a public park, but let's face it you were only there to cause drama." Jean said.
"How does that prove anything." The judge says.
"There are five different parks where she lives the only reason why she went to that one was because she knew they were there the only business she has is her daughter but if you look at the clip she's nowhere near Peyton she's behind Kenny ms did you even speak to your daughter." Jean said.
"No But I was going to I got distracted with Kenny telling me to leave. Kenny stopped Peyton from coming to my house so I went to see her." She said lying through her teeth.
"Mr.Edmonds shared with me that the house your living in is his." Jean said.
"That's true he wanted a place for our daughter so he allowed me to keep it." The only truthful thing she said all day
"So from my understanding Peyton said she didn't wanna go because of your boyfriend and that if he was there she couldn't be." He said
"That's true."
"No further questions." He said sitting down.
After about an hour it was my turn.
"Unless we make plans which is rarely Peyton goes with Nichole because we have her Monday through Friday. Peyton told Kenny she didn't wanna go due to Nichole's boyfriend. She said he be mean to her. Since that's Kenny's house he told her that he don't want him around her." I said.
"what about the day of the assault." Their lawyer asked me.
"Since me and Kenny been together all she's been trying to do is get him back texting me telling me I was this and that and how they would be a family again so when she comes around we make it very clear that if she's not coming for Peyton then she has to go Kenny told her that and her boyfriend came out of nowhere saying it was a public park Kenny took that as his chance telling him about not being in that house and they started arguing I told Kenny to let's go and her boyfriend was like yea Kenny listen to your girl with her fine ass he said some other disrespectful things to me and that caused Kenny to punch him." I said sighing that I was finally finished.
"What about the day of his arrest." Their lawyer asked.
"When they said they were arresting him I ran to his side hugging him tightly, they needed to cuff him so one of the officers started pulling me causing Kenny to punch him." I answered
"I think I heard enough case clothes Nichole I don't care about Monday to Friday but when the weekend come no man should be present unless there was a discussion. Kenneth I understand I do, but let there not be a next time." The judge said and i smiled happily.
They took the cuffs off Kenny and I jumped into his arms kissing him like crazy.
"Get out my court room." The judge yelled causing me to blush
We all walked out the court and into the parking lot.
"We can have dinner tonight to celebrate Kenny coming home." His mom said and we all nodded in agreement.
Me and Kenny got In the car and he drove off. He grabbed my hand kissing my knuckles.
"I missed you so much baby." He said and I smiled.
"I missed you too. I wasn't myself for the past 3 days." I said
"My momma told me what happened. Ion never wanna see you drinking like that understand." He said sternly.
"Yes I understand."
"Good." He said placing his hands on my thigh.
