I woke up, it was dark. I sat up and yawned, I saw Tezhaun laying next to where I was. I felt my phone in my pocket vibrate. I took it out and saw Aidan's contact. He called me 16 times, that's the first.
I got up and slipped out of Tezhaun's room quietly and answered it. "Hello?" I said, Aidan sighed out of relief as he said "I've been calling you for 2 hours, where were you?" He sounded worried but memory of him not picking up pissed me off. "I was asleep. And I called you, why didn't you pick up?" I whispered in a angry tone. He sighed deeply, "I was...busy" he hesitated. I rolled my eyes. Memories of us arguing came flooding back in my head. I always felt he lied to me about his excuses of not picking up. "Busy? Really?" I said sarcastically but in a low quiet voice. "Babe look, I'm sorry okay? I got busy and my phone was off." I sighed as I shook my head slightly. "Okay." Is all I said and he sighed deeply, he knows I'm mad. "Its not a big deal Anjelic." He replied, I let out a small chuckle. "Yeah it wasn't. Guess what, I got kicked out of the house and my own mother wishes I was dead. So yeah it's not a fucking big deal." He got quiet, "Babe I'm so sorry-" I cut him off. "You should be, your a asshole, I'm done with you. Bye." I heard him say something but I hung up.

I sighed as a thought came to my mind, 'Don't take him back.' I heard Tezhaun's door open and he peeked out. "Yazzie get back over here." I walked back into his room, "Sorry if I woke you." He chuckled a bit, "Its fine, what were you doing?" I thought about saying nothing but I know he would figure it out later. "Aidan called." He looked at me with a confused look, "I thought you guys broke up?" I looked down and sighed. "We got back together yesterday and well I ended it 4 minutes ago." Tezhaun shook his head disapprovingly at me. "Really? Well don't get back together with him. He obviously is an asshole."
Tezhaun seemed kinda mad, I looked at him and said "You alright?"

"Look, Yazzie I care about you a lot and knowing you went back to that piece of shit pisses me off. I don't want to hurt you after everything you had gone through." It wasn't the first we talked about Aidan. Just hearing it makes me feel stupid, I think it was just about time I knew it better.
I sighed deeply, but Tezhaun hugged me. "I'm not mad at you okay?" I nodded hugging him back. "I just don't like it that he hurt you." I let out a soft sigh, "I know and I honestly didn't know what to do..."
He hugged me tightly, "I said I'm always her for you. You could've called me and I would've done something." I released him but he didn't let go, "Stay right here." I small chuckle escapes I hugged him back again.
"Like I said before I didn't want to bother you...you're in college I know that can be stressful..." he sighed. "It is but you're important too.." I looked up at him. "Why?..." Tezhaun looked at me. "Cause you mean a lot to me and I care a lot about you." I chuckled and just sighed. "I'm always here, I should've checked on you. So part of it is my fault."
I chuckled again, "No it's not. So hush." He chuckled and said, "Let's head back to sleep it's almost 3am." He let me go and I did the same. "Oh lord," I said as I laid back down yawning. He laid beside me and chuckled. I chuckled but felt my eye lids get heavy, he held me again but I fell asleep after.

I felt so much better.
