•••Astrid POV•••
"It's completely empty. No dragons, no supplies, no nothing?" I mumbled to myself. I walked back up to the top deck.
"Have you guys found anything yet?" I asked.
"No. Everything is gone. Its as if they had nothing to begin with." Fishlegs replied. The twins came back from the other side of the boat smiling and hitting each other in the side.
"Did you two fi-."
"NO! Nothing. Uh, we found nothing." Ruff said raising her voice a bit.
"Yeah. We totally didn't find a cool glass lens. We totally didn't do that." Tuff added. Ruff hit him in the back of the head and started scolding him for not keeping his secrets. I raised my eyebrow confused.
"Hand it over." I ordered. They complained but did as I said. It was a strange shape and the center was indeed made of glass.
"I've never seen anything like this. What do you think it could be Fishlegs?" I asked. I handed it to Fishlegs who examined it front and back.
"Maybe Hiccup knows about it?" Fishlegs suggested.
"I can go ask. He should be at the forgery." I grabbed the lens from Fishlegs and hopped on Stormfly.
"Let's go girl." I said and we took off towards the forgery.

"Hiccup? Are you here?" I asked landing by the forgery.
"Y-Yes! I'm right here! Just a second though, the fire's a bit out of control!" He said from inside. I looked back at the chimney. There was no smoke, no smoke means no fire. What was he doing in there?
"Hiccup are you okay?" I asked.
"Yes! I'm perfectly fine! The fire has been taken care of so you can come in now!" He said changing the subject. I nodded and told Stormfly to stay and guard. She obviously seemed to know what that meant.
"So, find anything on the ship?" Hiccup asked.
"Actually, Yeah. The twins found this lens in one of the cabins. It's something I've never seen before." I held out the lens for Hiccup to look at.
"Astrid this is great! These dragon lenses are super important. Let me show you." He explained. He opened his saddle bag and removed a cylindrical object decorated like Toothless.
"This is the Dragon Eye II. After Viggo and Ryker took the other one I went and made a new one. Let me see the lens." I handed him the lens and he put it in a slot at the front of the Dragon Eye II.
"Toothless, low flame." Hiccup said. Toothless let out a low flame that illuminated in his mouth. On the wall there were purple drawings and writings in languages I didn't know.
"This is new. I can add it to the collection." Hiccup said. He opened up a bag that was slung on Toothless. I leaned over to get a better look. My mouth opened in surprise. The bag was full of similar lenses.
"I'm glad these didn't fall into the sea when we plummeted. That would have been disastrous." Hiccup grabbed another lens and put in another.
"Have Stormfly do the same." He said.
"Okay. Stormfly, uh, low flame." I was still getting used to all the commands Hiccup taught us. But luckily Stormfly seemed to understand. She let out a low flame and on the wall this time we're yellow drawings instead of purple. And it seemed the information was about Deadly Nadders.
"Wow. Is this why the hunters are after you? For the Dragon Eye II?" I asked. Hiccup shook his head.
"They have their Dragon Eye. They're just after the lenses. They can't get information from nothing." Hiccup explained.
"And you have all that information." I added. Hiccup nodded his head this time.
"They're only after the lenses."
•••3rd Person POV•••
[Meanwhile at Viggo's Home Base]"That brat is going to pay." Said Ryker as he stalked into his younger brother's tent.
"I don't see the Dragon Eye lenses. Did you fail?" Viggo asked from his desk.
"The boy had other dragons and other riders with him. He wasn't alone this time." Ryker sneered. Viggo clasped his hands.
"So he's made some allies. Brother, where was it that you found him?" Viggo asked.
"An island just two days journey from the village of Berk." Ryker explained.
"Berk huh."
•••Hiccup POV•••
"There wasn't anything else on the boat?" I asked. Everyone shook their heads.
"The boat was completely empty. There weren't even dragons in the cages." Fishlegs explained.
"They probably knew that they would need to leave that boat behind. But why would they attack if they knew they would fail?" I mumbled the last part.
"It makes no sense did they leave something on the boat that we missed? Is it a trap that explodes if you step on something? Is it just a decoy?" At this point I've started rambling to myself.
"Has he started to go...you know." Tuffnut pointed to his head and started twirling his finger. Astrid hit him upside the head.
"I'm going to check out the ship again." I said. I whistled for Toothless. I hopped on the saddle and took to the sky. I flew straight to the ship.
"Anything look suspicious bud?" I asked. Toothless shook his head.
"There really isn't anything here." I knocked on floors and walls making sure there weren't any secret hiding spots. I made it to the captain's corders and pushed open the door. The desk was empty except for a single coal pencil. I ignored it and instead went back to knocking on walls. Immediately it sounded hollow.
"Toothless, plasma blast right at the wall." I said. Toothless readied a shot as I backed away. I was right, when the smoke cleared there was a spot in the wall big enough for a small group of people. There were blankets, a small ration of food, and a few weapons.
"There isn't anyone in here. Where are they?" I asked to no one really.
Toothless growled and faced the door. There was still smoke left from Toothless' shot. Except, mixed in was a thicker, smellier smoke. There was a fire on board.
