•••Stoick POV•••
"My son is right. These dragons have protected us more than we know. We've hunted them and killed them for 400 years. I believe now, we shall settle for peace instead." The crowd of Berkians began to cheer, which didn't make much sense as to the situation. But Hiccup seemed happy, relieved even.
"How about we get these dragons moved in." I said to Hiccup. A week later we had all the preparations for a Dragon stable. In a month we had the stables up thanks to the dragons helping build.
"How many dragons can this fit?" I asked Hiccup.
"Just enough to house all the village's dragons. Plus extra rooms for any guest dragons." He replied.
"Good, good. And there is still no sign of Viggo?" Hiccup shook his head at my statement.
"Heather and Dagur have had no luck finding him. I've been out there too and it's as if he's just disappeared off the face of the earth." He said.
"What about your team. Have they seen anything?" I asked.
"They are on patrol right now and I haven't gotten any terror mails so no. It just doesn't make since. We've searched everywhere, even beyond the archipelago." Just them the gang landed along with Heather and Dagur.
"Hiccup, we found Viggo." Heather panted.
"Maybe not everywhere?" I said to Hiccup.
•••Astrid POV•••
After telling Hiccup about Viggo we went back to show him what we found.
"Was he attacking an island, or just stopped." Hiccup asked.
"Hiccup. Viggo's forces were decimated." I replied.
"Decimated?! By what?!" Heather just shook her head.
"We don't know, we never saw what did this too them. But we figured it must have been a pack of dragons. No one dragon or person could have done this damage." Heather explained.
"What if it was a giant dragon, 100 meters tall and he just stepped on them, squishing them to smithereens. Boom! Gone!" Tuffnut said. Ruffnut agreed.
"There's no such dragon like that. We probably would have seen it anyways." Fishlegs said. Hiccup looked to Heather and asked her something but Heather just shook her head and said something back. All I heard was "King of Dragons." I didn't want to question it.
"We still need to try and figure out what did this. It could be a danger to Berk." Hiccup ordered. When we arrived upon the fleet of ships I was still shocked. The entirety of his fleet, hundreds of ships, was destroyed. The dead bodies of hunters either still in the boat or sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Viggo and Ryker were found in Viggo's cabin on one of the ships. Both dead.
"Heather, Astrid and I will land and look around Viggo's ship, the rest of you stay in the skies and look for survivors. If you find anything meet back here." Hiccup ordered. Heather and I followed Hiccup to Viggo's ship and we landed, shaking the boat a bit.
"I don't think there would be anything on this boat still. It's completely destroyed. Everything was probably destroyed." I suggested.
"It doesn't hurt to look though. Prepare yourselves." Hiccup replied opening the cabin doors. Hiccup walked over to the desk that Viggo was laying on top of.
"Search Ryker, see if he's holding anything that could be a clue." Heather and I crouched down and started looking through his belongings. Nothing.
"Did you find anything Hiccup?" Heather asked.
"Yeah." Hiccup held up a claw.
"I found it on the floor, it seems that Viggo broke it off the dragon that was in here. By the looks of it it's a Stormcutter. I've only ever seen one before so we should be extra careful.
"Dragon!" Snotlout screamed from above the ship. We exited the cabin to see a Stormcutter, the exact one. And on its back was a rider? We all mounted our dragons.
"Everyone stay back! We don't know what they want!" Hiccup ordered. The dragon and it's rider turned their focus to Hiccup.
"Are you the leader?" The rider asked. Hiccup nodded.
"Were you the one who attacked Viggo." He asked. The rider nodded and silently stared at Hiccup, as if trying to decide what to do. Then the rider pointed her staff towards Hiccup and the Stormcutter dove towards him and Toothless.
"Hiccup, look out!" I yelled. But it was too late the Stormcutter grabbed Toothless and Hiccup and flew off with them.
"Hiccup!" I yelled again. We flew after the dragon rider. We ended up being led to a giant ice palace.
"Wait. We can't just go in blind. We need a plan." Heather said. I calm myself down and agreed, we landed on an island near the ice palace to regroup.
•••Hiccup POV•••
The Stormcutter dropped us off in the middle of a circle of dragons and flew away. Toothless growled at the other dragons trying to protect me and it sort of worked, however the dragons were curious about these new friends and didn't seem to want to let us go. The dragons backed away when a rattling noise came from above us. It was the Stormcutter and its rider. The rider was shaking her staff and it made the strange rattling noise that called off the dragons.
"Who are you?" I asked. The rider stayed silent climbing down their dragon towards me and Toothless.
"I asked you who you are! Are you going to answer me?!" I said backing away. I couldn't go too far because there were still dragons behind me. Toothless got in front of me to protect me but a few seconds later was on the ground happily asleep. I had finally been pushed to the dragon wall and had nowhere else to go and the rider was closer than ever now. They put their hand next to my face and gently stroked my cheek before reaching my chin and gasping.
"Hiccup." They said shocked.
"Yes?" I replied confused. How did this person know me? The rider took their mask off revealing themself to be a woman, maybe in her late thirties or early forties with long brown hair braided into three and pale green eyes like my father. Why did she seem so familiar?
"Am I supposed to know you?" I asked. The lady looked down in disappointment as if she was sad that I didn't know her.
"No, you were just a babe." She said.
"But a mother, never forgets."
