•••Hiccup POV•••

So far the day has been spent just watching the twins goof off. I've watched them fight boars, fight themselves, fight their dragon, fight themselves again, and then fight some boars again.

"You won't get away you slimy beast!" Cried Ruffnut. I sighed and rolled my eyes. The weather was perfect for a fly. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and it was so warm. That's when an idea hit me. I scuffled over to the boar pit cringing at all the flying mud and grease.

"Hey!" No answer.

"Hey!" I yelled again. The fighting stopped.

"How about we do something fun?" I said. The twins shrugged.

"That depends on what we're going to do." Ruffnut replied.

"Is it even more fun than the boar pit?" Tuffnut asked. I shrugged and pointed to their dragon Barf and Belch.

"That depends on them."

The twins, scorched and browned like a fox, sat on the beach in amazement.

"That."

"Was."

"Awesome sauce!" The twins screamed at once. They immediately started jumping up and down like little kids asking to go again.

"It's your Dragon. You can do whatever you want." The twins giggled and started planning their next big explosion. Finally getting some peace and quiet Toothless and I hiked back to the tent. During all the fun my wound re-opened. Luckily I caught it before it could seep through my clothes. I quickly changed the bandages. Toothless purred sadly and rubbed his head on my side.

"It's alright bud, it'll heal with a bit more time." I said. Toothless pouted but didn't fight. I pet his head and scratched his scales and he rolled over just like a cat. I laughed and kept petting him. Then it was a full on battle. Toothless was on top of me, licking me and tickling me.

"Toothless! You know that doesn't come out!" I wiped the spit off my armor and flicked it at Toothless. He shrunk back to try and get it off his head. I used the old blanket from the cot to wipe it off. I threw the blanket over my shoulder hoping it would land on the cot. Nope. It didn't.

"Hey! Gross! What is this stuff?!" Snotlout screamed. I rolled my eyes and took the blanket off his head.

"Dragon saliva. Your welcome." I replied sarcastically. Snotlout grimaced and frantically wiped his hands on the nearest thing to him. Which was me. I wiped down my armor once again.

"I'm not going to screw around with you like everyone else did. I'm going to ask you some serious questions here, and you'll answer them truthfully." Snotlout said. What I've heard from Astrid is that Snotlout is the annoying brawn of the team, but if need be, he can become serious to protect his friends.

"Yeah go ahead." I sighed sitting down on the bed. This was going to be a long day. Snotlout pulled up a chair from Thor knows where and took a seat right in front of me.

"First of all, I want your full name." I thought for a bit. I never actually knew my full name, I just remember the name Hiccup from when I was really young. I shrugged.

"Don't know it." I replied. Snotlout scowled.

"Fine then! Where were you stationed before here?" Snotlout asked. This one was easy.

"On an island outside the archipelago called Dragon's Edge." I explained. Snotlout nodded.

"Who are your allies? Are they good? Or evil?" Snotlout asked.

"All of them are good. The Berserkers, The Outcasts, The Defenders of the Wing, and The Wing Maidens. They've all helped me in my fight against Viggo. Sadly I can not tell you where they or their islands are." I replied. Snotlout looked surprised.

"The berserkers? You? Got Dagur? To join your forces?" He said. I nodded.

"It was mostly his sister's doing. Heather was the one that got Dagur to change. He used to be a dragon hunter that was after my life." I said. Snotlout was still dumbstruck.

"Dagur has a sister?! How did I not know! Is she hot? Do you think she'd like me?" Snotlout rambled. I rolled my eyes.

"No." Snotlout pouted.

"Rude." He said.

"Is that all? I'm really tired and would like to sleep." I asked. Snotlout thought for a bit then sighed.

"Yeah, but don't expect me to trust you just because you talked to me." He replied. He turned and did the motion meaning that he was watching me before tripping out of the tent.

"Ow!" I smiled almost letting out a laugh. That when I saw it. The silhouette of a dragon. Based on the size it was most definitely a Deadly Nadder. I thought I was Astrid but there was no rider. This was not a trained dragon. Toothless was currently asleep. I didn't bother waking him as I ran to get Snotlout out of the way of the shot that would have ended his life. The fire grazed me leaving just a slight burn on my leg.

"What was that?!" Snotlout asked.

"A Deadly Nadder. Now move!" I said pushing Snotlout away again. I pushed through tree branches and bushes trying to lose the Nadder. It was just too fast. We probably made it half way across the island before we finally found a spot to duck into.

"What now? We can't just sit here forever. Although that does sound like the safer option." Snotlout said. I rolled my eyes and took a look around the rock formation we were hiding in. The Nadder still hasn't found us, but it won't be long before it does.

"I'm going out." I explained getting up. Snotlout grabs my arm.

"Your just going to leave me here?!" He replied. I shake him off.

"I'm going to train that dragon. Stay here. I'll be back." I said. I left the formation and walked out in front of the Nadder. It twisted it's head sideways to see me. I took a deep breathe and stuck out my hand turning my head away also.

"I don't want to hurt you."
