•••Astrid POV•••
We flew the dragons to the arena where they could play and walk around. They didn't seem to like it at first until they realized we weren't locking them up.
"I wonder how it's going on Hiccup's end?" Fishlegs said. I nodded.
"Who knows what could have happened. Let's just hope he comes back." I replied. Stormfly sat next to me and nuzzled my head.
"Thanks girl." I whispered to her. Stormfly squawked and danced around clearly happy that she made me happy. Then walked in Gobber.
"Still nothin'?" He asked. I shook my head.
"You think he's lost in the village? It's his first time here." Gobber suggested.
"I highly doubt it. He should know his way around. It's not a very big village anyways." Just as I said that Toothless flew down to the arena. I jumped up and ran to talk to him.
"How did it go?!" I asked. Hiccup smiled.
"I think these guys have a forever home here now." He said.
"But only if you can keep them under control." Said the chief who appeared behind Hiccup.
"Stoick! Look who decided to come out of his house!" Gobber joked. Stoick didn't laugh. He never does.
"It will only be this once. I've come to say that this will be the dragon's home. They won't be locked away though. Also a temporary housing is being prepared for you." He said pointing to Hiccup.
"Y-Yes Sir. Thank you." Hiccup replied. As Stoick turned away he kept his eye on Hiccup.
"And one more thing. No dragons in the village." He said and walked away. Hiccup shuttered.
"There's something about him that just scares me." He said. I chuckled and pat him reassuringly on the back.
"He hasn't been all too friendly the past few years. Don't worry, he scares everyone." I replied.

Since all dragons were forbidden in the village Toothless had to stay behind as I directed Hiccup to his temporary house. As we walked passed everyone just stared at him. You could tell that he was getting uncomfortable.
"If you want something to stare at go home and stare at your wall!" I yelled. This startled a few Vikings and they ran off but others just turned away and would just give the occasionally small glance our way.
"Thanks. But you didn't have to yell at them." Hiccup said. I waved at him, telling him not to worry.
"The Vikings here are too scared to fight with me anyways. I'm one of the strongest in the village!" I explained. Hiccup chuckled.
"Oh really? That's a total surprise." Hiccup said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and punched him playfully. We walked for another few minutes before we came across the house. It was the average Viking house, probably a new version since it looks so new. It was actually smaller than the others. We opened the door into the house and looked around. It was mostly plain except for a bed, a small table, and the fire pit.
"Cozy." I said. Hiccup walked around the room taking everything in. He placed his small saddle bag on the bed and sat down.
"Even my hut is fuller than this." Hiccup joked. I cocked my eyebrow curiously.
"And what would you have that would make your hut fuller than this?" I asked. Most houses were like this on Berk. Mostly empty except for weapons, beds, and a fire pit. We weren't exactly decorative people.
"Well I have a table where I eat and plan out attacks, I have mine and Toothless' beds that take up most of the higher floor, and my inventions and prototypes stashed away in one of the corners." Hiccup explained.
"What kind of inventions and prototypes? I've noticed how crafty you are." I asked. Hiccup laughed.
"I guess your right, well, I have the dragon fly one and two, all of Inferno's prototypes, all my attempts at recreating the Dragon Eye, and my shield that doubles as a launcher." Hiccup replied.
"Inferno?" I asked. Hiccup smiled and dig into his saddle bag. He pulled out a cylinder that looked like the hilt of a blade.
"This is Inferno." Just then the sword blade popped out and exploded into flames. The flames stuck to the sword. Hiccup handed the sword over carefully for me to look at.
"How did you do this?" I promise this is my last question.
"Monstrous Nightmare gel. It's what starts the flame and keeps it going for a long time. I'm still working on it though." Hiccup explained. I handed it back over to him and he put it away.
"So what about you? Anything your into?" Hiccup asked this time. I thought about it, but nothing special came to mind.
"Well, it's not as fantastic as dragon riding and inventing, but I'm pretty skilled at the axe." I replied.
"Oh really? Then how about we spar for a bit?" Hiccup suggested. I smiled.
"Bring it on."

We decided to spar in the arena as it had the most room. Most of the dragons sat by and watched us from the rooms that used to be cells. Even some Vikings came to watch. Hiccup used Inferno while I used my axe. The goal of the match was to knock the other's weapon out of their hands. Easy enough.
"How did I lose?" I said a few minutes later. My axe had been knocked out of my hands and flung back at the wall.
"You did good. Most people haven't even lasted a few seconds with me. I recommend keeping your eye on the target and don't get too cocky when you think your doing good." Hiccup replied helping me up. I walked over to get my axe.
"How about a rematch?" I asked. Hiccup nodded. We readied in our battle stances and we're about to attack when the horn blew.
"What's going on?" Hiccup asked.
"It's an attack. We have to go protect the village." I explained grabbing his arm and running out of the arena. Hiccup stopped dead in his tracks as he looked out at the water.
"What? What's wrong?" I asked.
"It's the Dragon Hunters. They're here for me."
