Epilogue

Louis placed Jace's spoon back into the container of yogurt and clicked his phone on again to check the time for the forth time in two minutes. Jace was mid way through pouring yogurt across the table when Louis' timer signalled and his pouty lips fell into a startled 'O' shape.

Louis was standing at the sink now, staring happily down at something he was simply sick of facing ever month, but he guessed he wouldn't have to anymore now. He placed it back in the box and stuffed it into his pocket before grabbing a wet rag and retreating back to the dining room.

"What are you doing? You cheeky fella!" Louis grinned, causing his two year old son to erupted into a fit of giggles when he tickled him slightly. Jace waving his spoon towards Louis happily.

"Daddy's spoon" he spoke, placing the yogurt covered spoon in Louis' palm and smiling so proudly he had crinkles by his eyelids and Louis' knees nearly buckled from under him, their son was the most adorable child to ever walk this earth.

"No, this is Jace's spoon." Louis replied placing it back into the yogurt container. The two had been repeating this cycle for fifteen minutes now and each time Jace was nearly as cute as the last. Louis couldn't get over how nicely spread he was between the two. He had chestnut brown hair that crinkled at the edges, somewhat like Liam's did when he was younger. His eyes were a glossy blue and Louis questioned how this happened when brown is more over powering then any simple colour, but then Jace manages to surprise them even more when his eyes go from blue to hazel. Jace had been blessed with Liam's lips and nose, but Louis' ears and his personality faltered between the two. He went from shy and quiet to overly sassy and crazy in a matter of seconds. He loves football (soccer) and Louis was so happy he even had a jersey made up for him. Jace and Liam though seem to enjoy cartoons more than Louis would like them too, but he finds it adorable when Liam takes time out of his busy pattern to watch cartoons, feed, bathe and read a book to Jace all before he goes to bed.

"Pa's spoon?" Jace asked dropping it onto the floor to giggle loudly once it made the loud clunk. Louis cooed fondly and wiped the table clean once he'd removed Jace's yogurt and replaced it with his fruit plate, and he guessed Jace preferred fruit over yogurt, but the two had been encouraging him to try new things.

"No. This is Jace's special spongebob spoon" Louis replied, leaning down to place it in the dishwasher and tug his hair into a beanie. He was overdue for a hair cut and now his fringe was becoming a pain.

"Spongebob!" Jace squealed clapping his hands together and trying to get out of his chair himself so he could go watch t.v in the livingroom. Louis glanced at the time and figured Liam would be home soon, so he picked up the fruit plate and put Jace securely on the floor before wandering into the playroom and turning the televison on, placing the fruit on the table and remote up high out of Jace's arm reach. "look! Adventure time is on!" Louis explained, earning a wide toothy grin from Jace in return before he shoved some apple into his mouth happily.

Louis finished cleaning the kitchen and picking up the fruit off the floor until Liam came home, and he was greeted with a tender kiss that always concluded of Louis on his tippytoes or Liam standing a level lower then Louis so he could reach easily.

"How was your day?" Liam asked as Louis happily wrapped his arms around Liam's neck and produced a content sigh from his chapped lips.

"Tiring, Jace refused to nap and then somehow he fell asleep in our bed with me. But I found something out today, it's pretty serious" Louis replied, fishing the box out of his back pocket.

"I didn't get another speeding fine did I?" Liam quickly questioned, his eyebrows furrowing together in confusion as he tried to remember where he may of sped up and got caught.

"No. No. Today I took another one of those horrendous test because that's what you do when you feel under the weather and it came back positive this time! Positive, I think I would of cried if it came out with another negative sign, nearly a year of trying and finally I'm pregnant again, isn't this amazing?" Louis grinned, his eyes crinkling at the edges and Liam totally understood where Jace got it from. The younger lad hooked his arms around Louis' waist and pressed his face into the edge of his neck.

"I'm so glad Louis, I'm so glad. I'll be here for this one, I will definitely be here" Liam said warmly, his grip tightening slightly when Jace came in and tugged at his pants leg.

"I know you will, because I tore up your army reapplication form this morning and rang up and told them you had broken your arm" Louis said sweetly "so you don't get a choose either way, no army for you" he grinned, pressing his lips to Liam's before hoisting Jace up onto his hip "what did you do with the rest of your banana? Throw it on the floor like last time?" Louis asked.

"Oh well, I guess I'm stuck here then" Liam chuckled, ruffling up Jace's hair.

"Pa took banana!" Jace squealed burying his face into Louis' neck.

"Is that so? Is pa magic? Is pa gonna give you a brother or sister?" Louis asked before he zoomed Jace over into Liam's awaiting arms.

"Yesss! Pa magic! Brother or sister!" He grinned. Louis wasn't even to sure if Jace understood what those words meant, as he tends to just repeat things, but either way Louis was pretty damn happy.

"Are we gonna be stuck with Pa now Jace?" Louis asked, Jace simply replying by sticking his tongue out and spitting everywhere. "I don't no if that's a good answer or a bad answer Liam" Louis laughed.

"It's those damn bananas" Liam chuckled "but, I think I'll stick around, I don't actually plan on going back there anyway"

"Well they don't won't you, you're a damaged man now, brainwashed by a cheeky child and his strange obsession with Spongebob and banana"

"And you Louis, I think you're pretty distructive" Liam joked, pulling Louis close after he stood in a gooey pile of yogurt "nah, to be honest, I'm pretty damn happy with how everything is right now. Jace, you and baby number two."
