(Letter 7. Four Months and Three Weeks Pregnant.)

Louis rubbed some cream into his itchy skin before letting out a long puff of air, rubbing his face as he leaned against his basin in his bathroom. It was currently 12.30 in the afternoon and Louis had planned to be in Doncaster in time to surprise his mother and siblings, but today was one of his off days and he was dealing with his horribly itchy skin.

He wandered downstairs in Liam's jumper, which was now starting to curve out from Louis' growing bump, and a pair of sweat pants. He rested one hand on the hard skin and ran soft circles before finding his bottle of water and cup of noodles on the bench; he picked them up and made sure everything else was packed in the car. He wandered out into the fresh air, his nose instantly going pink from the bitter weather; he protectively wrapped his weather jacket further around his waist in his hope to keep everything warm.

Once he was in the car he closed his eyes for a few seconds to regain himself, he felt a pang against his stomach just below his right hipbone and groaned slightly. His baby had started moving earlier that week and the more it kicked, the more the baby figured out how to plant their foot into Louis' sensitive areas and that just happened to be one of them. He shifted his hand around to the affected area and pressed lightly, gently rubbing the sore skin before using his other hand to switch the heater on.

"I know it's cold bub, I'm cold too." He mumbled, flicking his fringe to the side as he pulled his car into gear and started the hour and half drive to Doncaster. Usually Louis was ready for a road trip to see his family but lately he wanted to just be at home and sleep for months and months, but he decided he needed to visit them due to promising to come visit weeks before and not showing up.

One thing that really annoyed him was the toilet stops, he felt as if his child was purposely pressing down near his bladder to just make him go to the toilet every half and hour or so. Strangely, at one point he was craving a blueberry milkshake and usually he wasn't a fan of them but this time he got himself a large and spent the rest of the trip driving around with blue lips and a bright blue tongue.

Once he arrived he retrieved his laptop and wobbly walked up to the front door, his teeth chattering together as he scrunched his jumper close to his body. He used his gloved hand to ring the doorbell quickly, before he fixed his beanie and took a step back shaking slightly, he was pretty certain his lips weren't blue from the milkshake anymore.

The door was swung open by Louis' chirpy mother who was holding her tray of cookies, she glanced up from the pile of mail on her table, her lips gaping slightly before she quickly shoved her tray also on the table and pulled Louis close, the shivering male wrapping his arms around his mother tightly to try and get warm again.

"Gosh you're freezing Lou! Luckily I have the heater on." She cheered, leading the cold male into the living room and seating him down on the familiar brown couch that was surprisingly warm. He pressed his gloved hands to his stomach and tightly wrapped them around trying to get as much warmth around his lower body as quickly as possible.

Jay managed to find a warm woollen blanket in the back cupboard, she draped it over Louis' cold body and plopped down beside him, running her eyes over his body, as Louis tried to scratch his itchy skin on his neck.

"Don't scratch Lou, it will make it worse." She sighed, standing up and rushing down the hallway, leaving Louis slightly pouting in the living room as his baby planted another heavy kick into his abdomen. He shuffled to try and get into a more comfortable position, his head resting on the arm rest as he let out a soft sigh.

His mother came back holding a tube of a paste, and she didn't hesitate to start smearing the cold paste down Louis' neck.

"That stings stop." Louis hissed slapping his hand hard up against his neck, a frown plastered along his face as a sudden wave of sickness overcame him.
