a/n: so this was supposed to be angst (it still sort of is?), but the ending is fluff

you were curled up on the couch staring blankly at the tv while antonio was on the other end of the sofa.
you had found out you were pregnant a few days ago and you didn't know what to do. kids wasn't in the plan for you and Antonio, especially because he already had kids and had mentioned he didn't want more until the future, not now.
you didn't know how to act around him. you were withholding this big secret and you didn't know how to act nonchalant about it.
you were so caught up in your thoughts you didn't feel antonio wrap his arms around you until he placed you on his lap so you're straddling him
"we have to talk" he mutters as he turns off the tv.
you can feel how fast your heart is racing, he knows
"about?" you mumble as you play with the hem of your shirt
"you haven't been yourself lately" he says as he tilts your head so he can look at you in the eye. you stay silent
"just talk to me. please" he begs
you feel tears start gathering in your eyes, "i um i'm i-" you break off as you let out a shaky breath. he caresses your cheek and gives you a reassuring smile.
you take a deep breath, "i'm pregnant" you rush out
his eyes widen and his mouth parts in shock. now it's him who stays silent.
"please say something" you whisper as a tear rolls down your face.
"i'm not upset" he says as he wipes your tear away, "i'm just surprised"
"i know you don't want kids right now, so if you want to le-" he cuts you off
"i'm in this 100 percent with you, together. so what if we're gonna have a baby earlier than expected. i love you and that's what matters" he says, a little hurt that you thought he'd leave
"i'm sorry, i was just scared about how you'd react" you say as you lean your forehead on his.
"you shouldn't have been, yeah i'm surprised but i'm excited about starting a family with you mi amor" he says as he kisses you on the lips
he shifts your position so you're both laying down, your head on his chest as his arm wraps around your belly
