Jennie's POV

It's been a long 1 hour drive from my last dorm. My last dorm  was basically a nightmare. The water is always cold, sometimes I saw a rat tail hanging at the edges of the room and well, the payment was pretty expensive.

Ah well, enough ranting because I'm gonna move to a new and a much better dorm.

I looked outside the window to see a calm neighborhood when my dad suddenly starts a conversation.

"So Jennie, remember Yeonjun? Your cousin?" my dad said.

"Of course I remember him. It's been like what, 2 years since I last saw him... Kinda miss him though." I answered.

"Yea you see, your uncle decided to move here-"

I gasped before he even finished talking, " Really? When did you get the news?!"

My dad chuckled, "Just this morning. Your uncle decided that it's best for him to work with me and your aunt."

"Awe that's a really great news dad." I said.

My dad smiled.

"Uhuh, and I've been thinking. Since Yeonjun is just 16 and his parents will be busy at the moment, we thought we'll need your help with picking him up after school." he continued.

I whined, "Why me?? He's old enough to walk himself home, besides I've got no cars or anything for transportation."

"Yah, we're asking you a favor and about transportation we'll think about it-" and before he's finished he hesitated and continued.

"Hey we're here." my dad said an quickly parked the car on the side on the road to drop me.

"Thanks dad, I'll text you." I said getting my luggage and myself out.

"Are you sure you don't need my help bringing those stuffs of yours?" He asked me.

"Nah I'm fine. Well, see you on the weekend?" I close the car door.

"Yeah, bye sweetie" He waved and drove off.

"Bye dad!" I waved back.

Then I turn around to see this building with 6 levels,

I open the glass door to see a receptionist. Some couches and tables at the front, some students around my age were there, doing works on their laptop, laughing and chatting.

The building looks new, very nice and modern but simple.

The receptionist was at the front corner of the first floor, near the door.

A girl with cute bangs and a doll-like face caught my eyes and smile at me from her seat. I automatically smiled back.

She's alone. That was my first thought. I quickly make my way to the receptionist.

"Good morning. How can I help you?" The lady asked me nicely.
Then I scroll through me and my mom's chat to see my dorm room.

"Uhm, may I have the key to dorm-room number 820A?" I asked with a smile.

"820A.. Here you go!" she quickly give me the key. And of course I checked it again.
