|4. Childhood friends?|

Chaeyoung's POV

Jennie just called me and ask me to have lunch with her.

Of course as I good friend and because I missed her, I decided to take her to some food festival not far from my dorm.

I walk my way there while Jennie took the city bus and eventually arrived here with me.

The food in this festival is just traditional but still, delicious food that Korea has.

We walk around this colorful place filled with arcades, snacks, small performances, busking, but most importantly lunch.

Excitement filled our hungry brains and then we took sight of an empty table for two.

While snuggling between people in this long bright hallway, I notice someone too familiar next to me.

Jisoo?

She was backing me holding someone's arm while talking to him like buddies.

Well, of course I'll ask her about this but, it's just not the right time, right?

So I've decided to let them be without telling Jennie. I want her to be happy because she's been in a bad mood for the previous weeks.

And of course we eat and eat, take some pics around the festival and even enjoy some karaoke, singing traditional childhood song that we use to be fond of.

It was amazing being here, especially when it's just me and my best friend.

There's like a mini theme park and we get to ride some rides.

The last one we ride is the ferris wheel. We're beyond excited to ride this one.

As we landed to the top, the sky is now orange-purpleish and we quickly took pics and selfie.

We had so much fun without even realizing it's evening already.

Along the way down, we saw a familiar girl walking around the festival down there.

"I-is that Jisoo?" Jennie asked while pointing down.

Don't need to tell me twice.

"And who's that with her?" she pointed to the guy next to her.

They were walking while holding one white cotton candy that they share.

"Aw, I didn't even know she's dating." Jennie said.

"I didn't even know who's the guy." I finally spoke again.

Finally, we land our feet on the ground again and walk out.

We decided not to disturb them so, we use the back door of this festival and waited for Jennie's bus.

"By the way, how was your life with your dormmate? I don't even know his name." I stated.

"Well, for sure Jisoo will hate my roommate." she faced me.

"Who is it?"

"Namjoon.." she sighed.

"..."

"Girl, I-"

"Chaeng? Jendeukie?"

A very familiar voice called our name from our back.

We turn back and saw Jisoo, alone.

"Ahm hey I-we didn't know you're here." Jen said.

"Owh heh.. well I didn't know you guys are here too.." Jisoo looked away and joined us.
