Chapter VI

I didn't really like anyone the way I liked her. She had such an effect on me, it was unbelievable. Just the touch of her hand on mine was making my whole body burn from the inside. Just looking at her could brighten up my entire day.

I don't know how I'm supposed to have detention with her if she had such an effect on me, come on.

I know I have to go, but I will just be an awkward girl sitting next to her.

Okay Jess, stop thinking about it, you have at least 24 hours ahead of you.

I finally came home, and threw my bag on the couch like I always do. I went straight up to the kitchen to see if there was any food left in the fridge. But I only found an hold cookie, I don't know how old it was, maybe 1 year. Damn that was an old cookie right there. I searched everywhere but didn't find anything other than this stupid cookie. I decided to put my backpack on and go to the groceries store.

When went outside, what I saw on the front of my house, was a sheet of paper with a sticky note on it. It was one of my tests I left before I left class like a coward, of course ... But on the test was written " You forgot your assignment, I hope you won't forget detention as easily as that :) "

I exactly knew who was it from. It was from Miss Williams.

Oooh there's a smiley face. Okay no, I have to stop it, damn it!

I put the test in my backpack and started going to the groceries store.

Once there, I bought some food, like eggs and stuff, I was in the mood to do some pancakes today, it was unusual.

Once I stepped out of the store, I thought about doing something this afternoon, because I didn't have any other stuff to do.

I decided to go to the cinema, because there was this movie I found interesting. It was the story of a young boy and his dog. I just saw the dog on the picture and I already knew I would be going to see this movie, because I loved animals so much. Yes I know, I'm kind of a softy inside.

Once in the cinema room, I tried not to do any noise, because people were always looking at me like they wanted me to just stop moving everywhere and just sit down. So I did it, I sat in the front, because there was no places left.

After a bunch of crappy videos, the movie finally started. I turned my phone off and I sat comfortably in my seat.

Other people were still coming in the room, even if the film already began.

I was concentrated, but then I heard someone sit next to me, so I instinctively turned my head to see who it was, and guess what ...

It was Miss Williams.

" Mind if I seat here ? There's no other seats and I already bought a ticket " she said looking at me while waiting for an answer.

I shook my head and said " No I don't mind, you can take seat here Miss Williams. "

She smiled at me and took her seat.

" You know, you can call me Emily out of school "

I smiled back at her. Emily, what a beautiful name.

I couldn't believe it, how could it possibly happen, was it some sort of sorcery. I really, wasn't expecting her to show up just like that.

I turned my head for a second and saw how breathtaking she was. She was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't see how she was dressed, but I could see her magnificent ocean blue eyes in the dark, and it was enough for me.

I stopped looking at her because I would look like a creep again, and it wasn't really the impression I wanted to show.

The movie was almost over, it was the sad scene, where I was trying not to cry, because of course she was just sitting next to me.

I was focused on the movie when something unexpected happened. Like always.

Her hand landed on mine.

I'm dying right now.

I didn't know if she did it on purpose but I was trying not to freak out. My whole body was burning from the inside. This was that effect I was talking about.

I decided to look at her to see how she would react, or if she did it on purpose.

I looked at her and she didn't responded, she was just looking at the movie like nothing was happening.

She then felt my eyes on her so she looked at me and saw her hand on mine, she released a shy smile and then quickly removed her hand off mine.

I wasn't really sure if she was just acting or if she didn't saw her hand landed on mine.

The movie was over and the lights turned on.

Everybody started going out of the cinema, and so did she.

Before exiting the room, she looked at me and then said " See you in detention " with an amused look on her face.

I was dying, she really had an effect on me.

On my way home, I couldn't forget what she looked like and of course, her name, Emily.

Once again sorry for the update showing up so lately, I just didn't have any ideas in mind, and I don't really have the time to update so regularly. I hope you could forgive me, and of course I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
