8 years ago... Mei age: 8 is inside her family's house

"Mum..?" Said Mei walking down the hallway. "Dad..?" She said stopping and standing in front of the forbidden room she was never allowed to go in. "A-are.. You home..?" Said Mei knocking on the door. Mei looked down to the floor and saw blood slowly coming out from under the door. "Mum!? dad!?" Mei whimpers.

CRASH!? Mei jumped, as she slowly checked to see what it was. As she looked up she saw a tall man with two different coloured eyes standing inside her family's house. "Hello there Miss Kawani" said the man licking off a bit of blood and was on his lips. "A-a..." Mei said petrified as she stood there with her legs shaking. "I'm going to find you again.. And I will drink every last drop of blood in that little body of yours.. Since you are a true blood.." laughed the man. Suddenly Mei's parents emerged from the hallway. "MUM!? DAD!?" Mei screams running towards her mother. "Mei..." Said her mother holding the side of her hip which had blood slowly dripping onto the floor. "You.. Need to run straight to the Kiryu's house right now." Said Mei's mother "GO!" She yelled standing up. "...mum?" Said Mei confused. "Just run!?" She said pulling out a gun and aiming it at the man.

Mei is running in snow towards the Kiryu's house

As she walked over to the door she noticed that the door was open and slowly walked in quietly. She leaned against a wall and heard a voice coming from the room behind the was she was leaning on. She bent down and peered though the key hole of the door and saw a boy with lavender eyes with blood over his neck laying on the floor with a beautiful woman standing a few metres away from him. "You will either die from lose of blood... Or slowly transform into..-" said the woman as Mei leaned back up against the wall shaking.

"Now then.. Ichiru shall we go?" Said the beautiful woman. As she said that the woman and another boy with lavender eyes left though a window. Mei looked back though the key hole to find no one except the boy was in the room. Mei slowly turned the door handle and walked in to the room and sat down next to the boy who still had blood around his neck. Quickly thinking she took of her coat and put it on his neck "your.. Zero aren't you.." She said quietly as she looked and her coat which had blood over it. Mei slowly lifted up Zero's head and put his head on her thighs and patted his head. Zero could feel someone patting his head but didn't open his eyes nor move. "It's..going..to be..-" Zero heard Mei say those words but was unconscious again..
