Vampire Knight: A Truebloods story vol.1

Going into town..

Yuuki, Mei and Zero have left Cross Academy for the day and have headed down to the village not so far away from the Academy. At the moment they are sitting in a small cafe.

"Ah... This is so yum!" Exclaimed Yuuki who was having some sort of ice cream thingy. "Y-yeah.." Mumbled Mei, Mei looked up to see Zero sitting at the table already looking bored. "Hey um Yuuki how about I get my hair cut..?" Said Mei taking a small bite of the donut she bought. "Yeah!? You should get it cut short.. I haven't seen you with short hair before." Replied Yuuki excited. "Are you really sure you want to do that?" Mumbled zero looking up at Mei. "Well yeah I guess, it is just hair.." Said Mei standing up "well I'm going to go find a place to get my hair cut. I'll meet you guys at the gates to Cross Academy at 2pm okay?!" "Maybe yuuki should go with you.." Said Zero concerned "cause you are a vampire remember that.. And you will have to drink blood sooner or later.." "Shh.. zero not so loud.." Whispered Yuuki "I'm sure Mei will be fine.. Come on we should go look at the other shops" said Yuuki pulling on Zero's arm. Yuuki pulled Zero down to her height and whispered something in his ear. "See you soon Mei~" smirked Yuuki pulling Zero out the door. "Well then I guess I should go find a salon...." Thought Mei.

After 10 minutes of walking Mei finally found a salon..

Mei pushed open the door and walked up to the counter "um.. I was just wondering if I could-" "oh hello~! What a pretty colour you have there!" Said a woman running up to Mei and touching her hair "come, come! Sit down! Let's work on this" the woman hurried Mei over to a chair with a mirror in front. "Now what would you like done!" Exclaimed the woman "I uh.. Just want it cut a bit shorter then what it already is.." Mumbled Mei "aw! How bout we style it also! It'll be my treat!" Replied the woman pulling out some scissors and starting straight away. Over time Mei hair was thinned out and layered and obviously cut shorter. "Waalaa!" Exclaimed the woman revealing the effort she put into Mei's hair cut. "It looks great" smiled Mei looking at herself in the mirror. "Now let's play with it for a bit" said the woman "oh I'm sorry but I've got to be some where in five minutes.. If you would like I can come in another time and you can style it then.." Said Mei pretending to be excited. "But ofcourse! have a lovely day Miss!" Said the woman as Mei walked out the door. "Wow she actually did a pretty good job on it" Mei thought to herself. Suddenly she got a weird feeling someone was following her. Mei's walking pace started to speed up at she was walking to the gates of Cross Academy, but soon she found herself in a alleyway.. "Of course it had to be a alleyway" mumbled Mei, Mei could her footsteps behind her and quickly spun around to find a man in a black suit walking her way..
