A secret is revealed

Mei has been grabbed by Kaname

Kaname leans down to Mei's ear while Mei is struggling to get out of his grip and whispers "are you afraid..?" As Mei heard this she froze "j-just what are you planning to do?!" Mei said scared. "KANAME-SAMA!" Kaname looked up to find Yuuki and Zero standing a few metres away from him. "What do you think you are trying to do, monster!" Zero yells at Kaname pointing his bloody rose towards him. Mei wriggles herself out of Kaname's arms and stood away from both Yuuki, Zero and Kaname.

Yuuki stares at Kaname confused "put... The gun down Zero.." Yuuki said walking towards Kaname and whispers into his ear. Yuuki looked into Kaname's eyes as she finished what she said to Kaname, He looked serious. Zero walked over to Mei and grabbed her wrist and pulled her away from Kaname and Yuuki. "Let's go." Zero said dragging Mei behind him.

Mei and Zero are in the in Headmaster's private lounge room

"Are you alright.." Zero says sitting up against a wall staring at the floor. "I'm okay now.." Mei says looking towards Zero. "Thank you.. For coming for me.." Mei said turning away and blushed. As Mei turned her head Zero looked up and could she Mei's neck. Zero started to breathe heavily and grabbed his shirt. Mei turned back "hey are you ok..ay?"

Mei has seen this happen before. It was when she first saw Zero and when she found out he was a vampire. "Blood tablets?!?!" Mei said running towards Zero bent down towards him. "you need them!? Where are they?!" Mei said as she saw Zero's blood red eyes staring back at her. Zero pushed her down onto the floor "HEY ZERO?! WHAT ARE YOU-" Zero leaned forward to Mei's neck and ripped off her bandage bit into her. Her blood was being gulped down, she could hear him swallowing her blood. Mei laid there staring at the roof she hadn't heard this sound before.

Zero started to push himself away from her and ended up leaning against the wall. Mei laid there hearing her heart beat fast. Bmp bmmp bmp bmmp. Zeros eyes had turned back to his original lavender eye colour. "Mei... I'm.. I'm so sorry.." Mei shut her eyes slowly then opened them again..

"Why... Didn't you tell me where the blood tablets were...." Mei said in a faint voice. Zero looked down.. "My body has starting to reject them.." Zero said ashamed.. "I couldn't control myself.. I haven't had blood tablets for a few weeks now.. They don't.. Work anymore.." As Mei heard that she slowly started to sit up.. "...what..?" Mei said sadly. "You can't take them anymore!?" Mei said looking at Zero's sad face. "Does Yuuki know about this.." Mei said as she leaned forward to hug Zero but Zero looked away. "No...no she doesn't. I can never forgive myself for doing that.." Zero said staring into Mei's eyes. Mei looked back at Zero. "If you need blood so badly.. I.. I can be at use.. Only if you desperately need Blood.." Mei said starting to felt a choking sensation in her neck.

Zero looked up at Mei shocked and stood up and leaned against the wall.. "I'll do everything I can..to protect you.." Zero said realising he just accepted her offer and walked into her headmaster's bathroom.

Mei looked at the ground. "I've...just offered myself to become a meal for a vampire.." Mei said to herself quietly then picked up her bandage and stood up. Mei started to put her bandage back on and stumbled back to her dorm.
