❛❛we wrote a fairy tale, its name, Eclipse❜❜
A story of a paralyzed girl, and an ephemeral boy, who were only able to meet at night and starting from silly conversations they became the light in each other's darkness.
But no one knew where he came f...
"So where should we go today?" He asked, stretching his hands.
"Far....far away" I said, my eyebrows furrowed.
"Thats the spirit!" He looked at me, noticing the unsteadiness in my face, the gulp in my throat, the weakness in my heart.
"you okay, Em?"
"Yeah..."
The same pathway as yesterday.
The exact dirt road, we went sliding through.
My eyes were fixed at him.
moon.
I could never say how much he means to me.
I could never say that without him im nothing.
I need you.
I need you right here.
"Do you wanna go deeper into the forest?" He asked and I nodded.
"You wanna see an old church?" He asked breaking our silence.
"CHURCH?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Yah its actually really old and all broken but its nice. "
"I am not going there!" I screamed.
"You said you wanna see the forest."
"But..."
"No but, come with me." He bent down in front of me. "Get up on my back, fast!!"
"Ok..." I got up on his shoulders, his hands holding me tight.
"Lets go...." he said and started walking slowly. I held him tight, grasping his shoulder, feeling his warmth, he was lively. I was closer to him than ever before.
"Ever heard of the ghost town?" I asked recollecting stories I had heard from my grandmother.
"Yeshhh..." he elongated his answer.
"Oh really! Then tell me about it!" I lightly patted on his head.
He turned around smiling at me, and my cheeks flushed red.
"Its a town, inhabited by god knows what, deep in the middle of this forest, and no light has ever shone on it" He smirked.
"I thought that was a made up fairy-tale my grandma told me!" I tucked my hair behind my ear and flashed a smile.
"Maybe, Maybe not"
"How far away is it?" I asked.
"Oh....."He looked at the a side, towards the silhouette of the trees, a strong light shining behind it.
"What is that? did we go straight into Heaven?"I giggled and said, but the light in the midst of the darkness, the tree branching canopy was almost blinding.
"Where are we, Moon?" I tugged at his shirt while he blankly stared at the place from where the light came streaming in.
"Not here....."He sighed and slowly walked away, making me sit on a comparatively even surface while he sat down beside me, his head drooped down.
"Hey..."He forced a smile. "Our ghost town inst a ghost town anymore."
"What?"
"Construction..."
I looked away, even if this place I had heard about was fictional, it was beautiful, it was my wonderland. It was the last remains of my childhood, the main pillar. Now everything came crumbling down like brittle glass.
"Lets get inside the church.."He said.
"This is a church!" I exclaimed pointing at the building which stood in rruins.
"Yeah."He smiled and softly pulled me towards him, we sauntered, into the building, almost tripping at each other. We sat down on one of the seat which was stable and stared at the front. Rather than a church it was more like a movie theater.
The roof was almost blown away, the stars were embedded on the sky, like little diamonds, and through the broken, colored window, the silver moonlight refracted into the seven colors of the spectrum, drawing a rainbow over us.
I laid my head on his shoulder, my eyes wide open staring at the sky.
"Its so beautiful..." I smiled.
"I know...its wonderful..." he held my hand.
"So what happened today, at school you know?"
"What? "
"School Em, school..."
