Soooooo....here we go!!!
I completed a story after my 1 year hiatus for my boards and I think my writing has improved hehe. So Eclipse is a story which is really close to me and I wanted to give my all to write this. This story will forever have a special place in my heart
Why?
Well, we all love to imagine don't we?
We forget the darkness of reality and run towards what is fake, what is imaginary. As that is somehow the only way to escape the dull, boring reality. We get lost, we forget and stay in denial.
We all find these escapes, be it imagining being a kpop idol while in class (lol) , daydreaming about going to our dream city, crashing into the love of our life, but in the end we need to face the truth. We have to wake up from the dream which we love. Jaemin was that dream, from which Ember never wanted to wake up.
But reality is beautiful too, and we need to find the beauty in it. That is Haechan. She was in love with her Moon but failed to see the stars in Haechan's eyes, how glad he was to get her back in his life.
But she did love him, and she needed him in her life. She found her smile and laughter with him too.

For Em, Jaemin was that escape and she fell in love with him. She knew from the very beginning he was imaginary, but she just couldnt believe it. She was in denial.
Jaemin was a memory which transcended into a dream. He was beautiful and painted her dark nights with colors.
But he was scared too, that he would fade away. That Em would find happiness and he would cease to exist, fade away from her life, from his love. It's up to you'll to imagine whether he was a guardian angel, a ghost or imaginary friend hehe.

honestly writing about Haechan and Ember's moments were my favourite. I was enjoying their relationship as stupid best friends who know they have each other for life.
You may think they love each other, end up as a couple and it's absolutely up to you guys. I find their friendship really cuteeee.
One of my personal favourite Haechan moments was when he was sitting on the tree during the sunset, and they were recollecting their old memories, when he said, "let's stay like this forever ".
"For me Haechan somewhat was the real moon that she looked for in Jaemin. He loved her, but she was way too concerned with her virtual moon that overshadowed the actual moon, who was always with her" jkbae13
That sums up Haechan's role in the story doesn't it?

So Eclipse is their story, written from her perspective. The moment she realizes Jaemin is imaginary, he starts to disappear from her life. At first he was frequent but the more she was with Haechan, Jaemin went away.
She realized she was forgetting away, but he was too precious to just be dumped into a corner of his memory. So, she wrote Eclipse.
Being paralyzed, and broken she made her own paradise, with Jaemin.
Soooo how was it guys?? I know I have asked this like a million times hehe:)
