❛❛we wrote a fairy tale, its name, Eclipse❜❜
A story of a paralyzed girl, and an ephemeral boy, who were only able to meet at night and starting from silly conversations they became the light in each other's darkness.
But no one knew where he came f...
I was staring at a blank peice of paper recollecting my thoughts, trying to write something on it, but Jaemin's face kept swarming near my eyes.
Then i thought,
What if we lived in a world touched only by moonlight?
If in this world of fantasy, the faint moonlight would be adequate for everything. There would not be the scorching of the Sun, everything, every boon and every sin would not need to be highlighted.
The world would not crave to be perfect.
There would be flaws and valleys and people would accept them.
There would be angels with torn wings and demons who could love.
All that was what I was thinking.
30 minutes later, here I am sitting inside a locker, sobbing, staring with fear, at the locker door, at the light which is coming in from outside. But I am far away from everything horrible.
I was praying for them to not bang open the door, or even worse lock me in here.
Seconds became minutes and minutees turned to a full hour.
They had gone away. But I had no escape, my wheelchair was far away, perhaps even broken. My body was shaking from everything which had happened from morning, when I started recollecting about my story.
Eclipse.
I recalled something, maybe I had written something like this earlier, the thoughts seemed way too familiar and maybe those old papers lying inside my ancient cupboard, had something like.
My imagination disappeared, when I grew up I suppose.
Like my liveliness.
Suddenly the light shone right on my teary face, almost like the flame of a torch. I looked up to see a figure had opened the door.
With my numb legs on the ground, I had covered my head with my arms, my eyes squinted. The figure in front of me was the class monitor - Lee Donghyuck.
Also known as Haechan, 'Full Sun'.
Tsk....
"Found ya!" He said gritting his teeth.
His smile hasn't changed one bit.
He extended his hands towards me and I grabbed it tight as lets say, my legs are non-existent.
I stood up and said,"How?"
"It had been your favourite hiding place since childhood, lockers, right?"
Childhood, right .... Back when I was alive. Back when we were friends, rather when I could look at his face and not think that I'm useless, inferior to him.
He smiled,"plus you have not been in class for like 2 periods. I got worried."
"Thanks, Haechan" I smiled.
"Anytime!" He patted my back and we were heading back to class when he said, "You wanna join me for lunch Em?"
"Me?" I pointed at my face, flabbergasted.
"No, the non-existent ghost behind you"
"Of course....." I sighed and nodded my head.

"You have ben absent for a lot of days lately. How are you now?" He asked, chewing his bread.
"Fine... " I lied.
My eyes were not focused on him, they were looking at all those people who were walking past, at all those girls who were glaring and those boys who were mocking me.
Some pitiful glances.
Some shell-shocked faces.
"Em.."
"EM!"
"Yeah!" I looked at him, his eyes, sunk deep into his face, lined with guilt.
"Em...Im sorry." He held my hand.
