❛❛we wrote a fairy tale, its name, Eclipse❜❜
A story of a paralyzed girl, and an ephemeral boy, who were only able to meet at night and starting from silly conversations they became the light in each other's darkness.
But no one knew where he came f...

The blinding sunlight traced on his skin, coloring his pale, moon-kissed skin with shades, and his lips curved into a pretty smile, his eyes squinting at the light.
It was him. His same warmth, the way we used to inter lock our fingers, feeling the harsh winter wind ruffle our hair, brushing past our shivering bodies.
I said nothing, but held his hand tighter. I could feel his warmth more than ever, even when the wind picked up its speed, the surrounding grew colder and bitter. I held onto him this time. He was here. Right next to me.
"Stay...."I whispered into the wind.
"This is our story Em..." He closed his eyes, the sunrays on him, through the lifeless trees, and he grasped my hand tighter.
"and, don't forget it, even when I'm gone...even when you forget that someone named 'Jaemin' existed, don't forget our story."
"I may not be true...." he whispered, letting out a deep breath, as if his heart broke into a million pieces, his lips trembled,"but this is, Eclipse is..."
"No...Jaemin! No, you are right here, right beside me!" I yelled.
"My love for you is..." his grin was so big it seemed his cheek were hurting.
"No, Jaemin...its...rubbish, its bullshit, I am with you, you are with me! " I screamed, as if he was so far away, that he couldn't come back.
I had always known it. But I never wanted to. I never wanted to admit it, even when I felt his warmth fading away, little by little, when his words were as light as the breeze, his smile lost its joviality,
His eyes,
His eyes were losing its spark, its ember.
In a corner of my mind, I had always known it. The fawn hair, those beautiful, lively eyes, those lips which curved into a healing smile.
They never existed.
They were nothing.
Na Jaemin. Moon. Never existed.
He was nothing but a fragment of my imagination.

But it was hard, it was so hard to believe that the boy who painted my life with colors, whose eyes sparkled, and he smiled as if there was no darkness, no sadness in this world, was not real.
It was hard to believe that the Jaemin I fell in love with, who looked ethereal under the pearl-blue moonlight, never existed. That he deserved to live, but he couldn't.
It was worse than dying. He was never here. He was like those fireworks which burn bright only to crumble down like ashes, he was an erased memory which transcends into a dream, he was a reality which begged to exist, but never did.
He was everything and nothing at the same time.
"I will love you, Jaemin, I won't, I can't forget you..." I went closer, hugging him close to me, feeling emptiness even when the rays of the sun seemed to burn me and the wind send chills down my spine.
"I hope you won't need me again..." He was so pale, so weak, fragile but beautiful.
I grasped him closer, feeling nothing, no warmth but only his sobs, his head on my shoulder, his hand grabbing onto my shirt, frantically whispering, "I don't wanna go Em, I don't, I don't wanna disappear."
The moon came closer to the Sun, the sky gtew darker than night, the tree leaves rustled, and he was fading away.
He was the waning moon.
He was the smoke which disappeared.
He was lost.
But,
He found me.
I caressed his cheek, fighting back tears, fighting back the whirlpool of emotions and heartbreaks, the emptiness, the hollow feeling.
He touched his forehead with mine, "I'm sorry...Em... "
His voice was so weak, my tears bursted out. I could not hold the pain anymore.
How could something this beautiful be imagination? Be fake?
We cried and cried, and between his sobs he muttered,"I'm sorry I lied, lied that we will be forever..."
I could feel him slipping away, I could no longer feel the butterflies fluttering in me when I looked into his eyes, I could no longer feel his warmth, I could not see the sparks flying in his eyes.
"Embrace the sun, Em."he said.
