Chapter 59: Hug

Lisa's P. O. V.

I open my eyes when I heard a chirping sound of birds. I look around and saw my room, It was orderly arrange as far as I remember.. I broke all of it last night because of anger and frustration. I don't know what happened next, I just remember that I was crying and out of mind.

I don't know what happened to me that night, the madness took over me. I hurt Jennie, I know I was cruel.. But who cares? They want me to be like this. I don't feel guilt towards I did, I shoud be happy and celebrating that Kai will be locked up in the Dungeon until the worms and rats are eating him alive.

I was about to get up from my bed but I felt a stinging pain on my stomach. I touch it and another bandage was on it. I touch my forehead and there's a wet towel, I quickly remove it and force myself to get up but before I could do it, Sunmi entered the room.

"Don't force yourself" She told and stay on my side. She push me to lay down so I did "You still have fever because of your wound" She added.

I didn't speak and just look outside my room. The sun rises above indicates that it was already late in the morning.

"Where's Leo?" I asked her.

"He's with the Lords, having a good time" She mumbled and put the towel on my forehead "I saw you lying on the floor last night, your stitches went open. Luckily the Physicians did their best so here you are, still breathing" She laugh at me but I don't have time to smile instead I just look at her blankly, it made her look at me seriously.

"I don't like your attitude last night Lisa. You left a mark on Jennie's arm, What made you? You should be mad at Kai not h-"

"I don't care" I interrupted "Just leave me here, I don't want to hear anything from that girl. If she won't stop doing some shits, I won't hesitate to do more" I told her. I remove the towel on my forehead and turn my body side ways.

I heard how she heave a sigh "I'll check you again later.. Get well" She stroke my hair and went out of my room.

I remove the duvet on my body and try myself to get up. The pain on my stomach was killing me, I never felt a pain like this before. He even make sure that I would get a deep wound, Fuck him. I grab the bed side table to support myself to get up.

"Shit" I curse when I accidentally fall down on the bed, I tried to get up but this pain stop me from doing it. I grip on the table because of irritation "Fuck this!" I throw the lampshade on the floor, It got broken.

I close my eyes and buried my face on my palm. It makes me frustrated. I took a deep breathe and look at my side, I noticed the music box that Jennie gave me a decade ago.

I slowly took it and open the box, there are words that engraved on it saying: Be happy and smile always

I furrowed my brows and slowly spin the lever, the music started to play. This was the last gift that I received from Jennie before my Father found out everything. She told me on the letter that she used to play this when she felt sad and lonely, Her Grandmother gave this to her. It has a soothing sound that even anyone who might hear it will be calm but it's already useless anyway.

"Your Grace.. " I look at my back and didn't noticed that Jin Young entered my room. I put the music box on the table again and force myself to get up. Jin Young help me until I successfully reached the balcony.

"Is he still alive?" I askes him and rest my hands on the railings while looking down the Castle.

"He's still sleeping" He told. "The Emperor wants him to be dead and it will be hidden from everyone else except his Family but I told him that he should talk to you first" He added.
