From Kill To Kiss (Kakashi x OC)

Four

"Zabuza..." Kakashi said. "Long time no see."

"I think it's been too long, actually," Zabuza said, with a snarky smile. "I wanted to introduce my other partner, though you already seem to know each other."

Kakashi straightened his Jounin head band, revealing his Sharingan. "It's time to go, now."

"Secret Mist Jutsu!" Zabuza said while commencing the required hand symbols. Using his Sharingan, Kakashi managed to copy every moment, perfectly. Irritated, Zabuza began to speed up his hand gesture, trying to confuse Kakashi but he was no match for the power of the Sharingan. Kakashi sped up to match the speed of Zabuza's hand.

Zabuza laughed, swinging his sword at his opponents feet. "Kakashi, don't you think I learned from our last matches? I know what you're trying to do here."

"Chidori"

Kakashi struck his hands at Zabuza, striking him with great accuracy.

He roared in pain, skidding backward, but he managed to withstand the pain, getting up right after.

Kakashi jerked backward, breathing heavily. That's when he realized he had more company. Standing behind Kakashi were Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke.

Kakashi glared at them all. "Sasuke! What about Haku?"

"What do you think we're doing?!" Naruto said, his Kunai knife in between his teeth.

It was essentially Team 7 versus two Hunter-Nin and Zabuza himself. The odds did not seem to be in Kakashi's favour.

All of a sudden, Kakashi began to feel weak. He'd been using his Sharingan for so long, he almost forgot. And his Chakra..it was most probably depleting. But if he stopped here, his students would be dead. And even worse, he'd die too. Kakashi had to think of something fast. He wearily stood up and kicked Zabuza away with all his might, then shot two shurikens at Yumika.

He turned back to Sasuke. "Go! Go back to Tazuna's house! Stay there until I return!"

Sasuke nodded, as he hurried back out of the forest, Naruto and Sakura. Zabuza looked at Yumika, who was struggling to her feet, trying to pick up her mask.

"Well?" he rasped. "Go after them!"

Blood was slowly dripping down Kakashi's arm. Yumika and Haku were wounded but they followed the children. Kakashi sprinted after them and stuck his left arm out.

He slashed at her, but Yumika leaped in the air and dodged the attack.

Zabuza took the advantage and snuck up behind Kakashi, wielding his sword. He raised his sword and was ready to swing; when Kakashi unleashed his last bit of Chakra.

"A Thousand Years of Death!"

And with that, Zabuza flew
backward with the impact; landing harshly on his front, not moving an inch after landing.

Kakashi's vision slowly started to fade. Was he dying? He didn't know. And he didn't care. All he knew was that he failed as a Sensei. He failed to protect his students. He failed everybody. He fell to his knees with a loud thud, then slowly smashed his face against the rocky terrain.

He blacked out.
