From Kill To Kiss (Kakashi x OC)

Kakashi and Yumika both got ready and headed down towards the nearest cliff to begin their combat. The two were both in their regular training attire.

"What kind of a battle do you want?" Kakashi asked.

She gave a small shrug. "Which one do you choose?"

"Well, I personally thought we could have a simple contest..to speed things up."

She knit her eyebrows. "What sort of contest?"

"Perhaps a race?"

Yumika raised an eyebrow. "As in a running race?"

"Mm, how about we see who can climb the mountain the fastest using a single hand?" he suggested, pointing over towards a very steep and high cliff.

"If that's what you want.." she sighed.

He rubbed his hands together to warm up, and cracked his neck left to right, "Let's get this over with.."

The two shinobi quickly made their way to the bottom of the high altitude mountain, when they suddenly found that somebody was already there.

Might Guy held his hands on his hips. "Heeey, everybodaay~ Life treatin' ya good?" his eyes suddenly fixed onto Yumika. His eyes widened, and he grinned suddenly, "Well, well. I'll be damned! Yumimi!"

"Guy.." her lips played a smug smile, holding her arms out wide. "I haven't seen you in a while."

He stepped into her hug, "Tell me about it. Now, what are you doing hanging out with ol' Kakashi here?" He let go upon finding him watching them strangely.

Kakashi slipped his hand in his pocket, "Well, we were just about to race to the top of that mountain. Care to join?"

"Actually, I'll just watch," he replied, giving her a wink. "you better beat him!"

He stood behind both of the contestants, tying one hand behind their backs to prevent the desire of using both hands. Yumika collected her hair up into a pony tail and gave Kakashi a nod after she tied it. He blinked back.

"On yer mark, get set..GO!" Guy waved his hand and skipped away to monitor the race from far. "Time to shine, sweetheart!"

Kakashi got a good start, as he knelt down and bounced up high, grabbing the nearest edge. He pushed off from the tiny edge and flew off towards the next. But by the time he was on the second ledge, Yumika was already on her fifth.

"I see you're out of practice, Kakashi." she mused.

"Why don't you keep that mouth of yours shut, hmm?" He replied coldly.

"Ooh, Kakashi's got some SASS today!" Guy squealed. "Fiesty!"

"That goes for you as well, Guy..."

Might Guy seemed to tone down the commentary after that. Kakashi was almost at the half way point. A small bead of sweat trickled down his forehead, right past his eye.

Kakashi was defiantly out of practice. He wasn't as fast as he usually was. Suddenly, he heard Yumika give a small gasp, as she lost her grip on the ledge and she started to plummet down. She quickly grabbed on to the closest ledge and continued to pull herself up the ridgy cliff, as if nothing had happened.

"You alright, Yumi?" Guy shouted.

"I'm fine.." she grunted as she pulled her body up.

In a few minutes, Kakashi effortlessly began to out-climb Yumika. He pulled his entire body up the last edge using the last of his arm strength. He steadied his breathing, as he shakily stood up, just as Yumika began to climb that last set of ledges.

Kakashi bent down and offered her a hand, which she graciously accepted.

"I believe I win." he yawned. "But you did alright."

"If I hadn't slipped.." she said under her breath, but then gave a smile. "Nicely done."

They both made their way back down, where Might Guy was waiting for them. Getting down on his knees, he hugged her.

He wailed dramatically, squeezing her tighter, "You did so well! Even though you didn't win! I-I'm so proud of you, Yumimi!"

Kakashi gave a small chuckle, as Yumika patted his back comfortingly. "There, there, Guy..how about I treat you to some dinner?"

"Yes, that *sniff* would be nice..." Guy wiped his tears, as he stood up and followed her towards the village. His pout transformed into a smile in two seconds, "Wanna join us, Kakashi?"

"I don't see why not..." he replied, as he followed the two other shinobi back.
