Might Guy was feeling restless that night, so he shimmied out of his sleeping bag and sat next to Kakashi, who was on watch duty.

"Hiya," Guy whispered.

"Yo." Kakashi calmly flipped a page of his novel.

"I thought you finished that book two days ago?"

Kakashi motioned his head towards his bag, which had a pocket with three other volumes of his book. Guy nodded, then cleared his throat stiffly.

"I miss home," Guy sighed.

"We've only been gone four days; this is nothing,"

"Every time we go on a long mission, I get homesick as soon as we leave," Guy defended himself. "Thinking about the food and people back home,"

Kakashi shrugged, "Hm,"

He suddenly thought about Yumika, which was odd since he hadn't thought about her in a while. It was most probably because he was too focused on strategizing for this mission, which was, of course, more of a priority.

However, what he most felt bad about was skipping out on the last meal she had made for him, featuring a collection of his favorite dishes; he promised that when he got back, he'd treat her to dinner or something to make up for it.

"Besides," Kakashi said after some time, "we almost cleared this entire area of Missing-Nin.." he lost his trail of speech.

"Kakashi?" Guy spoke up. "Would Yumika be considered a Missing-Nin?"

Kakashi paused and thought for a moment, "I don't think so," He then locked eyes with Guy, "You should get some rest; it's your turn to watch in about an hour. Better make the most of it."

"Yeah, you're right," Guy gave a mighty (pun oops) stretch then scooted back to his sleeping bag. "Night~"

Kakashi gave one last look to his rival before setting his book aside and taking a sip of water from his canteen. Missing-Nin were those who left their village with no intention of returning. Yes, it was true that Yumika still hadn't returned to Kirigakure to visit her loved ones ever since Kakashi and she got reunited, but it was only to protect her. She was a traitor to the Hunter-Nin and Zabuza, of course. But after all that is over, surely she'd visit; therefore she was not a Missing-Nin. Most probably. Hopefully.

"Ah, whatever," Kakashi shook the thoughts out of his head and concentrated on his novel. "Now, where was I~?"

Yumika set her tea down upon her saucer, "Thank you for the tea, Kurenai, it's lovely."

"It's the least I could do," Kurenai smiled. "I'm still mad that I only found out that you were back a week ago."

Yumika gave a sheepish laugh, "Haha, my bad."

"And furious because I just found out you were living at Kakashi's house," Kurenai gave Yumika a smug look. "What's with that~?"

"Oh, nothing," Yumika admit, then countering, "But what's with you and Asuma, hm?"

"Touche," Kurenai blushed and turned to the other cheek.

Yumika smiled slyly, "You really haven't changed, have you?"

"Maybe not, but look at you, 'Miss. Hunter-Nin'." Kurenai raised an eyebrow. "Who would've ever thought."

"Oh, hush, 'Konoha's Elite Genjustsu user'!"

The two women laughed and continued to enjoy their tea and biscuits. It felt nice for the two to meet up again and catch up, especially since they hadn't seen each other in so long. They spent the rest of the afternoon together, chatting away until the sun was beginning to sink. As they walked outside, Yumika turned around and gave Kurenai a gentle hug.

"Today was so much fun," she said ecstatically. "I hope we can do this again, sometime."

"Of course," Kurenai pulled back, her hands holding on to each of Yumika's arms.

Yumika waved one last time before turning around and heading back home. She never realized how far away Kurenai lived until she noticed the sun almost completely vanishing, ready to replace itself with the moon and speckled stars. As she walked, she noticed a group of men by the village's entrance.

'Probably another team heading out for a mission,' she thought to herself. 'Which reminds me, I should check the Hokage's office tomorrow to see if there are any new missions I can take.'

When she arrived home, she freshened up in the bathroom before heading to the kitchen to decide on supper. She took yesterday's leftovers out from the fridge and decided on finishing them tonight. As she was about to dig in, a loud knock broke the silence she was dwelling in, making her look up.

As she open the door, she widened her eyes, "Guy?"

"Hey, Yumimi!" Might Guy gave a weary smile. As her eyes dropped to the sling on his left shoulder, he added, "Oh, that's nothing, don't worry."

"I didn't know you'd be back today," she ushered him inside with his good arm. "Where is everyone else?"

By that, Guy assumed she meant Kakashi. This made him grimace a little.

"He's probably still at the Hokage's office. He was technically the leader, so he stayed back to fully report what happened to the Third." Guy explained, hoping she'd buy it. "Mm, do I smell udon noodles?"

Yumika focused on the second topic, "Yes, but they're leftovers, so I'm not sure if you'd wan--!" Guy zipped past her and into the kitchen, and the sounds of intense slurping and gulping were heard.

She poked her head into the kitchen, watching him push his bowl forwards, "More please~!"

She couldn't help but laugh, as she walked over to the fridge to make some more food for her famished guest.

"Oh, Guy..."
