Ten

Yumika's eyes fluttered open to the repulsing rays of the sun. "What..?"

She sat up straight slowly and realized she was in a bed. Not her bed. She was still in her own clothes, which were wrinkled terribly considering that she slept in it. Most importantly, Yumika needed to figure out who's bed she was in.

She sighed in relief, as she stood up and gave a small yawn. Her hair was a complete mess; parts flopping over her face. As she started to walk, a chill went down her spine.

"Well, good morning, Yumi." a voice said from behind, almost making her jump. She found Kakashi Hatake standing by the doorway, giving her a smile. "Well, doesn't this scene look familiar."

"It wasn't a dream..?" she tried rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

"Well, I have been told that I am quite dreamy..." he mused. "You fell asleep last night, and I thought it'd be a waste if I took you all the way back home, so I brought you here."

She looked down, "..oh. Well, t-thanks, I guess."

"There's a catch: you train Sakura today in twenty minutes. I talked to the Hokage and he said it was okay for you to tutor her separately for the time being. 'Course, you aren't a jonin so you can't do anything more, so this is to just to get you stable. Now, I'll get you something to eat."

"What?"

"Hey, my hospitality comes with a fee, so come along now."

She raised an eyebrow, "Wh..what?"

He rolled his eyes, "Honestly, lady. It isn't that complicated. You gonna do it or what?"

She responded after a second, trying to comprehend all that was going on, "..what?"

"Was that a yes? Great!" He tossed a green flask vest at her face. When she yelped in surprise, he chuckled, "Not such a great feeling, is it? Follow me."

"Tsk.." She hesitated before following him outside after freshening up in the bathroom, then as they walked through the village, she tied her hair up.

"This way." Kakashi led her across a small bridge until she found three children standing in front of them.

"Kakashi Sensei!" Naruto yelled. "We waited out here for hours!"

"Sorry, I'm late!" Kakashi held his hand up apologetically. "I'm afraid I got lost on the path of life and I happened to stumble upon this nice lady over here."

"Hey, wait a minute!" Naruto took out his kunai. "Wasn't this that crazy lady who almost killed you?"

Sasuke held a shuriken in his hand. "What's she doing here?"

Sakura glared at the woman some more, ready to fight.

Kakashi held up his hand again. "No. Yumika is on our side. She means no harm. I brought her here today for Sakura."

"M-me?" Sakura swallowed a major lump in her throat. "But why?"

"Oh, you know..." he replied. "just for some, ah, extra training."

Sakura's eyes flared with rage. "Are you saying I'm weak?!"

"Don't forget annoying..." Sasuke added.

"Of course, not, Sakura, haha," Kakashi said. "I just thought it'd be better if you had a positive female role model in your life..."

Sakura folded her arms, clearly not satisfied.

"It's only temporary, I promise." Kakashi nodded at the two ladies. "Well, off with you two."

Yumika blinked awkwardly, "Er..let's go, Sakura."

She gave Kakashi a questionable look as she continued to walk with the pink haired girl.
