From Kill To Kiss (Kakashi x OC)

Twenty-One

Two weeks flew by, and Sakura's training kept getting harder and harder. Of course, Yumika wasn't purposely torturing the girl; she was just preparing her for her upcoming exam. Sakura kept getting better and better after every day, and she learned to master many more assignments by the end of the two weeks. Yumika decided that she'd start the exam today; so she invited Sakura to the forest of Death at 4AM for a 'stroll in the woods'.

This was where the 'fake ambush' would take place. Sasuke and Naruto, disguised as ninjas from the Sound Village, would suddenly appear as the two ladies would walk around in the forest. They'd pretend to hit Yumika with such force, that she'd collapse; thus leaving Sakura to fight them herself.

Kakashi would 'defeat' Naruto, then carry Yumika to the infirmary for her 'injuries'. Of course, Sakura wouldn't have a clue that this was all set up; for that would ruin the entire gig.

At quarter to four, Yumika, Sasuke, Naruto, and Kakashi all crouched on a very tall branch in the Forest of Death.

"Do you all know what you're supposed to do?" Yumi whispered.

They all nodded. "I have to attack you, but not too hard." Sasuke murmured.

"I gotta 'fight' Kakashi Sensei at the end, and let him easily defeat me!" Naruto pounded his fist into his palm.

"And then I carry you to the, so called, infirmary." Kakashi mused. "Is that all?"

"Also, make sure you go a bit easy on her; she's not quite as strong as either of you." she briefly nodded, and turned her head to observe the ground below. "She'll be here any minute...I better get down there."

"Good luck, Yumika Sensei!" Naruto flashed her a grin.

She quickly hopped down from the tree branch and smoothed her vest, as she casually walked up to Sakura; who was just arriving. She gave a small yawn, as she walked towards her Sensei.

"Morning, Sensei!" she said brightly, waking up as soon as she saw her. "I'm ready for my training today!"

"Sakura, dear, I told you before.." Yumika smiled softly. "I called you here just for a simple walk. There's no training today!"

Sakura turned her head sideways, puzzled. "Can I ask why you chose it to be so early?"

"I personally enjoy watching the sun rise in the Forest of Death..it's breathtaking."

"Okay!" Sakura said contently, as she followed Yumika deeper into the forest. They kept walking until Yumika purposely stopped at a tall tree.

She knocked on it once softly and pulled away just as Sakura managed to catch up with her. That was the cue. Sasuke quickly made five hand symbols and closed his eyes. When he opened them, he glanced at his reflection in a nearby puddle. Sure enough, he was staring back at a ninja from the Village Hidden in the Sound. Naruto did the same. Kakashi gave a small nod and began to count down on his fingers.

"Go," he whispered, as Sasuke tipped off the tree and dove down towards Yumika. He pulled his kunai out of his pocket and aimed directly for her chest. It wasn't too deep, but it did pinch a bit.

"Aah!" she cried in pain, as she fell down face first.

Sakura rushed towards her fallen Sensei and screamed. "Y-Yumi Sensei!"

Yumika didn't respond. She remained quiet as she fell into Sakura's arms.

"Yumi Sensei!" she shouted again. Sakura looked in the direction where the kunai seemed to be coming from. "Show yourself!"

Sasuke and Naruto both dropped down, holding Shurikens in their mouths.

"We got her..." Sasuke said, in a husky voice.

"Let's kill them both..starting with the old lady," Naruto added gruffly.

Yumika's eye twitched, but she remained in character. 'Old..lady..?'

Sakura stood in front of her fallen teacher, holding her hands tightly around her Kunai. "You're not getting any closer to her, ya hear? You'll have to go through me first!"

"How about we kill this one first?" Naruto mused as he lunged at Sakura; aiming a punch at her.

"Yumi!" Kakashi swooped down from the trees and lifted her head into his arms. He turned to the two Ninjas. "You'll pay for this..."

Yumika suddenly bit her lip from trying to laugh. She was trying really hard to look 'unconscious', but everybody's lines were just too cheesy.

"Shut it.." Kakashi hissed, as she wiped the small smirk off her face. He put her back down on the ground and stood up next to Sakura.

"You take the one of the left; I'll take care of this one." Kakashi quickly did the Horse, Ox and Tiger symbol; then charged at Naruto.

"That just leaves you and me, then!" Sakura snickered, as she lunged at Sasuke.

"Bring it."
