It seemed like not everyone was wearing their robes. Maybe it was silly to think they were 24/7 acting like scientists, they were people too and had  their normal lives. Some parts of it.

They took a plate and walked along the buffet, adding on it whatever seemed tasty. Well, everything looked good, but she couldn't eat everything at once.

They finally sat at a table, it had been actually a while since she would find herself between so many people.

Last time she ate in a place like this was probably at university.

She started observing the people around her while she was eating, some of them recognized her right away and would stare at her for some seconds.

Was there anyone who didn't know the child-miracle of this century?

«Mark Tuan! »exclaimed Linda as she saw the young man in the corner of the hall.

«Excuse me?» Minghao gave her a side look and tried to understand about who she was talking about.

«And is that Jackson Wang next to him? Wow.» she stared at both of the men surprised.
Nice they were working in the same area.
«Mark Tuan is quite known you know, although he hasn't achieved anything special... Wang as well, but it just happens that I know of them.» she explained to Minghao, the second would try to remember their names.
«He is from China as well.» she added and moved her eyes on other people.

Minghao looked at him and thought for a second, then smirked and laughed silently as he realized.

«Wang you said? Cool name for a scientist.» he mumbled to himself, Linda eyed him but didn't ask anything more.

«Angela Young as well.» said Linda as she swallowed her bite of apple pie.

The woman was sitting near the entrance, with another woman and two men.

«Oh I know her.» said Minghao and lowered his gaze.

«Really? What is she like?» asked Linda without taking her eyes off her.

«No, I don't mean personally.» Minghao leaned closer to her and whispered.
«She is the one who found the dead body.»

Linda turned to him, without saying anything. This case was worrying her but the more she knew, the better.

«Her job requires her presence in the garages the whole time. I don't know the details but the body was laying in the middle of the runway. So many cameras there but there is no footage of that night. Creepy, huh?» said Minghao and pulled himself back to his seat.

«You sure talk a lot.» laughed Linda.

Normally he shouldn't be spreading these informations?

«Everybody knows these anyway. You should know after all. You seem like a nice person, I like you.» he said and winked, then took a sip of his drink.

Linda felt awkward but she could relax a little bit. Minghao seemed nice too, she felt comfortable, her life would mostly depend on him.

Looks like he would be the first friend she made in CERN.

«An idea of who the dead man might be? Could it be a woman?» asked Linda and turned her upper body towards Minghao instead of observing the people around her.

«Not at all... The body was kind of tall and there are no tall women here.. I mean, at least 1,75 meters.» said Minghao adding his lasts words because he encountered two tall women an hour ago. But not as tall as men.

«But like... Don't they know who disappeared? Somebody would look for him.» said Linda and tilted her head slightly.

Who could be that lonely so nobody would be looking for him?
