6. Jinx

"Yes he's at the cafe next to Steven's." Jin said as we both wore our 'professional' look for office.

One of the branches of our agency is made to be an office but all the people working there, from the guards to the boss, all are the people of the agency. In this case, the boss being us.

We drove down to the same cafe as the Jeon group was in.

When we entered, we both acted as if we didn't see or notice them.

But we did.

I sat on our table as Jin ordered the usual and looked through my phone to act busy.

"He's looking at you." Jin said calmly as he sat in front of me.

"Well let him feast his eyes." I laughed.

Jin snorted.

We continued to speak like we were discussing the company and some other stuff like the weather and all until the our coffee and croissants came.

We resumed the conversation as I continued to laugh and giggle at Jin's silly jokes.

That was till the part where I heard someone clearing their throat behind me.

Jin's eyes perfectly told me who it was. I turned around to see the exact person I needed to fall into my trap.

"Aah Mr. Jeon! I mean Jungkook." I chuckled.

"Good morning." he smiled.

"Good morning." Jin and I both said at the same time.

"JINx!" Jin winked at me.

"Yeah right!" I stuck my tongue out to him as I made Jungkook
purposely see all this cliché stuff.

"Why don't you take a seat?" I offered.

"Oh no, no need. I'm here with the boys, just wanted to say Hi." he politely declined.

"Oh I see." I looked behind him to see his partners looking at us.

Some even giving mischievous smiles.

They waved when they saw me looking and I did the same.

"Would you like to meet them?" He asked.

"Oh sure!" Jin and I both got up and made our way after paying, we were done anyway.

"Guys, this is Kim Lyra. The one I told you about." Jungkook says with a calm tone but it seems we all notice his cheeks that were dusted with all pink color.

They all say Hi to me one by one as Jungkook introduces them.

"This is Jimin hyung, Namjoon hyung, Yoongi hyung, Taehyung and Hoseok hyung."

"Aah I see, nice to meet you all. This is my brother. Kim Jin."

We left after that. As the month went by, we kept on meeting at the events and I would make sure to be at other places at times. Flirting a little, little gestures here and there that could show that I was kind of into him. Which, of course I wasn't.

Acting is the key baby.

The things that shocked me often were than he at times seemed too innocent and childish for possessing something that could be the end of the world. But I knew it could be a lie. It's only been a month and I couldn't believe him immediately. Even if he was a child at heart, he could be a beast.
