Author's POV:

The chilly air soon dances agaisnt her skin, making her hiss. Followed by a groan, she fidgets around, trying to bring her hands up to face. Failing to so, she realised they're restricted, bound by some force or bond. Opening her eyes slightly, she find herself in an unfamiliar room, which didn't seem to catch her off guard at all.

Looking around and make sense of the situation, she noticed how her hands  were loosely held behind her with metal cuffs chained in the middle of the room. The room was freezing, it felt like a giant walk in freezer, cold air occupying every bit of the room.

While the cold hugged her like a close friend, her casual clothing didn't help, all of it suddenly made sense. She was a prisoner to them now. What else could the outcome be?

To look down, she still had her spy pendant on her but it was out of her reach, no matter how much she tried. It was useless, how could she reach her pendant while her hands were held behind? Those chains didn't even budge. Her adrenaline level and the coldness of the room seemed to agree though, both rising simultaneously.

Starting to shiver, she couldn't even rub her own arms to warm herself, exactly what they wanted. She didn't expect them to go easy on her either.

The room had cameras on its four walls, none of the walls had windows either but just a dim white light.

Pulling at the chains was useless, they wouldn't even budge, so she just sat there, switching between pulling at her bounds and panting from the loss of energy. While most would have hoped for their friend to come and free them, Lyra prayed for the opposite. She wished that Jin would leave her behind. She wished be would not try to risk saving her. She would rather have him succeed in the mission than to get suffer with her in this room. Hoping Jin would not try to find ways to rescue me but instead complete the mission without her. To her, Seeing him stuck would have been worse than dying here alone.

Soon enough even her breath was visible to her. The room was full of mist and it made her wonder how much time it had been since she was sitting there shivering. She would occasionally try to curl up into a ball, as tightly as she could from time to time.

However it wasn't really possible for her to keep pulling her legs closer all the time. Holding her palms together, she rubbed them together and blew warm air over my body as much as I could just to keep warm. That's the only way she could pass time for now.

~*~

The loud creaking of the door, suddenly shattered the deafening silence in the room. With little light peaking in, the shadow of a man was very visible as well. She looked up to see an expression colder than the room itself on the man's face.

Why did Yoongi suddenly come?

In a jacket, he entered and started dragging a chair from the corner of the room. The deafening creaking that echoed in the room forced her to keep her eyes open and keep them on Yoongi's every single move. The chair's back faced her as Yoongi takes a seat, facing her as well.

There is a silent and short staring competition that is suddenly sparked by the way he looked at her, with piercing eyes. It's almost as if he was trying to intimidate Lyra, not being the kind to be intimidated, she stared right back with the same fury.

"You're pretty good at looking at me like that while you're in that position, infront of me. Shivering, cold and weak."

"W- Well, I don't see- see any circumstances in which you would a- actually in- intimidate me."

"And yet, look at you stuttering." He humouslessly laughs.

"I'll put y- you in a wa- walk in f- freezer and then- we will s- see how steady your wo- words are.",She let out through her gritted teeth

"Oh, I'm sorry- is our hospitality not good enough?" He paused to sit down on his toes at her eye level and grabed a bunch of her hair. Pulling at it roughly and tilting her head backwards, he continues, "does this make it better? We try to do our best for someone like you."

Pain traveled through her scalp and neck but the only thing  she could say in her mind space were,

Sorry Jungkook.

"Oh don't worry, I'm not as weak your little friend. I'll be just fine." She tightly smiled, just to see something snap in his eyes in an instant.

Pushing her away forcefully on to the ground, she landed on my left side with a loud thump. The cold making her body more fragile and sensitive that it normally is, the skin seems to tingle slightly.

Oh that's gonna bruise.

"Hah, throwing me and pushing me won't change it you know? You might have me, but if not me, there will be someone else. Someone who would complete what I started. And you'll not be able to do anything about it."

"Now listen here, you little bitch, I don't care what your actual motive for coming here was but you try to hurt my family and I will kill you. I don't care that you came for the mind control device, what I do care is that you, hurt my brother and you will regret it. I will wipe out your whole clan if I have to. Not to stop you from taking the machine- which you won't even be able to but majorly to just protect my family. Got it?"

"Your 'brother', the supposed 'leader', wasn't hard to play with, how hard would the rest of you be? Stop with the dialogues already. You've lost. Accept it. My work is more or less complete anyway."

"We will see-", picking her up, he harshly squeezed her cheeks, reddened from the cold, "oh, we will so see."

Forcing her on the ground to her side once again, he got up.

"I will find your partner, and both of you will rot in hell." He said before throwing the chair back into a corner and walking out of the door.
