42. Little guy

"You don't mind Jin joining us right?" I ask him as we are on the way.

Hanuel looks up at me with twinkling eyes, "Jinnie Uncle?"

"Ah~ you remember him as well don't you angel?" I chuckle.

She nods while giggling.

"It makes her happy, how can I mind?" Jungkook chuckles as he takes a turn.

I rub Haneul's back lightly as she snuggles into my side.

"Is this the place?" Jungkook voice pulls me out of my thoughts.

I look up and nod.

Don't let go of yourself.

Jungkook soon finds a place for parking and we get down. I pick up Haneul in my arms and we enter the place.

"Lyra!" Mrs. Choi exclaimed as soon as she saw me. She threw her arms around me and squeezed me into a tight side hug before saying,

"Its been months! Who do you have here with you?" She smiles brightly and takes Haneul in her arms. They have their 'tight squeezy hug'.

And then she notices him.

"Lyra?" She suddenly calls out in that teasing tone.

"Is this the young man Jin was talking about? Your boyfriend?" She grins widely before walking up to him.

"Nice to meet you ma'am. I'm Jeon Jungkook. Haneul's uncle and Lyra's boyfriend." He bows and then grins at the last part of his words.

Havinv fun aren't you?

She cups his face and examines it before checking him. Then comes the verdict...

"He is perfect! I'm so proud of you Lyra. Finally got yourself a man." She proudly proclaims.

"Finally?" Jungkook asks.

I clear my throat and say, "Nothing- he doesn't need to know Mrs. Choi-"

"What do I not need to know-"

"You're the first boyfriend-"

"That's enough! We're here for the kids remember? Haneul and her friends!" I try my best to change the subject.

"But I want to know-"

"Lyra, child it's nothing to be embarrassed about-"

"Mrs. Choi-"

"You're the first boyfriend she has had-"

"First- what-" Jungkook's eyes almost pop out.

I facepalm to hide the fact that I'm cringing.

"You didn't date in school as well-"

I decide to stop this conversation right here and right now.

"I am not comfortable having this conversation......here..." I whisper the last part for Jungkook to hear.

He nods and gives an understanding smile.

"Well, you're mine now and that's what matters." He grins and wraps his left hand around my waist.

"Such a cute couple..." Mrs. Choi dreamily says before I question her about Jin.

She laughs when I mention him and tells us to follow.

As we go through the halls, we enter the dining room and I see Jin sitting there with most kids and lots of food. They all were gobbling the food up while joking and taking.
