#13 - KIDnapping

Shinichi sighed as he stared out of the window, mindlessly wondering around, thinking about how much things had changed ever since he got his body back.

He pouted slightly as he thought about Kaitou KID, his new crush that no one was aware of. He never attended the heists even though KID had personally invited the Great Detective himself. He knew KID felt insulted by it but he couldn't go to the heists while having these feelings for the international criminal magician.

He stopped mulling as he focused back on his work with Ran and Sonoko talking behind him about him. He ignored it.

His relationship with Ran was strained and both of them had to finally let go of each other. Ran moved on soon enough and found the comfort she needed in Hondou Eisuke.

And because of that, Shinichi and Ran's friendship was slowly starting to untie itself like a loose rope.

His relation with Shounen Tantei was not good at all. They all wasn't close to Shinichi as they were to Conan and that caused the situation to be awkward.

Heiji and him were fine as always and he had gained a new close friend, Hakuba Saguru. Despite the blonde being persistent about some things and slightly stubborn, he was a great person overall even though Heiji didn't agree on that.

Him and Sera were as good as it can get. Both of them bonded over crime solving and soccer, though Shinichi always win against her since they play without mercy.

Him, Amuro Tooru and Akai Shuuichi were good as well. The both of them always fought for Shinichi's attention just to make the other's blood boil with jealousy, much to the azure eyed male's amusement.

Shinichi was now a part of the FBI as undercover agent, courtesy of Jodie, James and Agent Camel. He would occasionally helped them out with certain things even if he's in school. They would just randomly call him why he was in the middle of the class and Shinichi, with a red face of embarrassment, had to answer it in front of everyone and put on loud speaker.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD) sometimes would ask for his assistant in certain cases too if it were too hard for them to solve, which Shinichi doesn't mind at all.

Vermouth, or Sharon Venyard, despite escaping from the takedown, Shinichi didn't seemed to mind at all when he saw the blonde woman once in a while. He knew she has a soft spot on him so he didn't care. She would sometime waited for him at the entrance of his school just to embarrass him in front of everyone as she clung onto him like a clingy girlfriend. (The rumours in school that spread like wildfire didn't die down until he told them that she's just someone he knew while he worked undercover.)

Furuko-sensei was teaching the class Chemistry when his phone rang through the class and as usual, Shinichi's face burned bright red. "I-I-" he stuttered.

The cocky woman raised her eyebrow and beckoned him to answer the call. "Put it on loudspeaker, Kudo-kun."

Shinichi begrudgingly did as told without bothering to look at the caller ID before a seductive female voice boomed through the speaker. "Shinichi-kun~"

His classmates and teacher looked at him with a massive judging look.

Shinichi prayed through the Nine Worlds for someone, anyone at all, to open a hole up and swallow him whole as he finally saw the caller ID.

Uncle Lupin.

"F-Fujiko-san?" he stuttered and squeaked a little when the female voice chuckled.

"Mou~ I missed you, Shinichi-kun~" she said. "We're on our way to your school~ We're gonna pick you up, ne darling? If your sensei won't let you out, I'll blast her with my bazooka for you~"
