It's not a Kaishin oneshot. It's SaguKai and I have no idea what to do with this fantasy of mine so I'll just put it here. Sorry! 😅

Kaito went to school with a bright smile, skipping in his movements as he went to his highschool, Ekoda High.

Yesterday's heist was a huge success but sadly the jewel he stole wasn't Pandora but that didn't dampened his mood for today.

He had a good blackmail material for his tantei-san after all! Kaito laughed evilly inside his head.

He went to his class and entered it dramatically, making confettis burst with some party strings. "Good morning~" he grinned.

Some of the students there flinched at the sight, not wanting to be his target of tricks.

Kaito skipped towards Saguru's table and slammed his hands down but the other didn't even flinch the slightest bit.

He started to get slightly wary and worried. "Haku-chan~ How was yesterday? I heard Kaitou KID got you good~" he laughed.

The blonde didn't even bother to look up from his book. "It was just perfectly fine," Saguru said blankly.

Kaito felt his heart squeezed slightly, not knowing why he was feeling like that. Something is wrong with his tantei. Did he go overboard with his pranks?

"Go and have a sit at your place if you have nothing else to say, Kuroba-kun."

Kaito glanced over at Aoko, who looked just as lost as he was. He slowly walked to his seat and sat down, eyes still on Saguru.

He was curious but he didn't want to invade Saguru's privacy in case it's something serious.

Which made Kaito even more worried than a moment ago.

He replayed back yesterday's event, not missing out any detail but still couldn't find the reason why Saguru was acting like this. It's starting to make Kaito terrifyingly uneasy.

Classes went on as usual with Kaito's occasional pranks and loud laughs, Aoko's yellings, Akako's witch chuckle but Saguru stayed put on his place.

He didn't even accuse Kaito as KID like he usually would. He didn't even respond when Kaito changed his hair color to Neon green. Nothing at all!

Lunch rolled in and Saguru was the first to leave the class. Kaito frowned and started to follow him but Akako stopped him, pulling him to one side.

"I won't even bother to give any riddles," Akako said as soon as Kaito opened his mouth to speak. "But I can sense that your blonde tantei is really shattered and distraught. Heartbroken should be the right word."

"Heartbroken?" Kaito echoed the word out in confusion. "Hakuba likes someone?"

Akako looked slightly symphatic when she looked away from him. "Love is the right term, Kuroba-kun. I suggest you leave him alone for now. Let him have his space."

With that, Akako left, leaving Kaito with his head jumbled up in curiosity and confusion.

He went towards the rooftop since he saw Saguru went that way and opened the door slightly to see him sitting alone, eating his bento.

He looked so lonely now that Kaito thought about it.

His ears picked up the sound of wet sniffling and looked at Saguru's shoulders that trembles with each breath he took in.

Kaito didn't notice what he was doing until he was squating down in front of Saguru. "Hey.." he spoke softly.

Saguru flinched and froze at the sight of him. He clenched his fists tightly, eyes hardened. "W-What do you want? Can't you l-leave me alone? Prank me later. I'm not in the mood."
