#26 - Friendship

A little SonokoAndSaguru!Centric cause I feel like both of them are a little underappreciated to be honest. It's still Kaishin obviously. It's just that Sonoko and Saguru was feeling down and their best friends are cheering them up. 😄 Enjoy reading~

Kaito was planning his heist in the living room quietly, planning back up plans after back up plans when Shinichi's phone rang loudly on the coffee table. He peered to look at the caller and saw the who the caller ID was.

He picked it up and answered the call. "Moshi moshi, Ran-san?"

"Ah! Moshi moshi, Kaito-kun. Is Shinichi there with you right now?" she asked. Kaito denied it and said that Shinichi was taking a shower currently. "Oh really? If he's done, tell him to call me back, alright?"

"Copy that," Kaito said and the phone call ended. He was curious since it sounded urgent but he didn't want to pry since it's not his place to do so between the two best friends. So, he waited for Shinichi to finish showering and come down.

He resumed back to his planning, too absorbed into his mind to notice Shinichi behind him. He felt arms wrapped around him and a kiss pressed onto his cheek. Humming contently, he turned his head towards his lover and Shinichi gave a chuckle, giving into the silent demand, kissing him on the lips breathlessly.

"Ran-san called a while ago," Kaito said when they broke apart from the kiss. "She sounded like it was an urgent matter. Didn't think I should pry and ask. Told me to tell you to call back."

Shinichi frowned and reach his arm to grab his phone to call Ran while his other arm still wrapped around Kaito. "Ran, what's going on?" he asked as soon as she picked up his call 2 rings after.

"It's Sonoko, Shinichi. She's having a bad day. I just thought you and Kaito want to join us somewhere to cheer her up," Kaito heard she said from the other side of the phone.

"Sure. Kaito and I will go along," Shinichi agreed without any hesitation. "Where do you wanna go?" he asked, nuzzling his nose against Kaito's cheek gently. "How about Tokyo Disneyland? Is that okay with the two of you?" she asked and Shinichi hummed, saying that it was fine.

"Thanks, Shinichi. Meet you two at 5pm. See you two later!" and the phone call ended.

Kaito reached up to caress his Shinichi's hair gently, breaking the other from his constantly running thoughts. "I heard. Should we go get ready now to meet them? It's 4:37pm now."

"Yeah, let's go."

So, the both of them changed into their casual wear and went to Shinichi's car. "If you drive like that again, I swear I'm gonna hide this car far away from you," Kaito warned, clutching onto the handle above his head tightly.

Heeding the warning, Shinichi only smirked and drove like a psycho exactly like his ex-racer mother, making Kaito shrieked on his seat as if he just saw a finny thing in front of him.

When they got to the place, Kaito was shaken to the core while Shinichi just continued to laugh at him until they met up with his friends at the entrance of the amusement park. Surprisingly, Saguru and Aoko were there too.

"Eh? What are you two doing here? I thought Saguru-kun went to England for the holiday a few days ago? Something happen?" Kaito blinked in confusion as he approached his friends.

"I did. I came back yesterday," Saguru said softly, avoiding everyone's gaze. "Nothing bad happened, Kaito-kun. Aoko-san insisted going here. So, I agreed. That is all."
