3rd POV
Coran really wishes that the young lad they were dragging was alive still. But by the way they had him all tied up, he doubted he was left unharmed. It wasn't like Coran got a good look at him, but it was enough to see his face. And Coran didn't know if it was his hope of seeing Allura again, or if he was just going crazy, but he could've sworn it was Lotor, one of Allura's best friends.
And he knew the boy saw him. He might of been roughed up, but he saw the recognition in his eyes. Perhaps there was still hope of escape after all.
"Coran, are you all right?" Asked the young man he was with. About a month and a half ago, they threw the young man in with him, with no recollection of who he was or where he came from. But he knew that he was special, and dangerous. That's the reason they locked Coran away from the other prisoners.
He looked up at the boy, and gave him his best smile. "I am, my boy. But I have a feeling we might be getting saved soon." That made the boy perk up, and he gave a shaken smile with a few tears. Although he remembered nothing, he knew there was something missing in his life.
"That's great news!" He said. After a long silence, the boy spoke up. "Do you think they'll be able to find us?" He asked. Coran was silent, which brought the boy sadness, because Coran wasn't really a quiet type.
"I don't know much, but I know my girl. She'll find us. She'll begin looking the second she finds out I'm alive. And I'll make sure you come along with me. I have a nice little ring that I think has your name on it," he said. The boy nodded, and went back to slinging pebbles at the cans they gave us. He wasn't bad.
Quick chapter while I finish writing the actual good stuff. I'm getting close to the climax. See y'all in less than a week, promise!
