Only Place I Call Home by Every Avenue is officially the theme song for Luke and Ashton in Revolution. Seriously. Listen to it and tell me it doesn't fit perfectly. Sidebar.
Also, hold onto your panties because shit is about to go down in this chapter.
ALSO I ALMOST FORGOT BUT I DEDICATE THIS CHAPTER TO KINDAMAGGIE FOR MAKING ME A NEW COVER <333{UNEDITED}
It'd been around a week since Christmas with Luke, and he hadn't seen Vinny since.
Not that I would know.
Especially not because I'd spent most of that week with Luke.
Absolutely not.
That's preposturious.
"Oi! Asshole!" That voice erupted from my doorway, before he slammed the door shut. "Let's go get a drink or something."
My eyes drifted towards the window, where darkness coated the same sky that rapidly dripped snowflakes. I furrowed my eyebrows slightly and brought my knees to my chest where I was sitting on the floor, wrapping my sweater-clad arms around them.
"But it's cold." I responded.
He sighed, annoyed, though a smile chiseled its way onto his face. "Y'ever had alcohol, Ashton? It warms you right up." He responded, rolling his eyes.
"But I have drinks here." I retorted.
"Ashton, you have half a pint of Jack Daniels and a bit of whiskey in a Pepsi bottle that's been sitting on your shelf for two years." He said, walking over to my dresser and pulling open the top drawer.
"Hey! Don't touch my liquor, bitch." I snarled innocently. "And I'm aging that whiskey, stupid."
"Yeah, I'm not sure that's the proper way to age whiskey, Ashton." He replied blandly, pulling a scarf out of my drawer and slamming it shut. "What the fuck do you have a scarf for?"
He wound the knit scarf around his neck a total of two times, before tucking the excess that hung down into his black jacket.
"It protects my neck from the cold." I said, bluntly.
"Shut up, Ash. I mean scarves don't seem like your kind of thing." He said, pulling on the gloves he'd removed and stuffed into his pocket.
"Well, seeing you in one, they are kind of your thing. You pull those off almost as well as those furry girl boots." I said, fighting back the smirk that nipped at the corners of my lips.
"Hey! One, they're called Uggs, two, they're for guys too! Tom Brady wears them!" Luke shot back, though his ear-to-ear smile disregared any snark to his tone.
"Nobody likes Tom Brady, Luke." I sighed.
"Shut up, Irwin. You love my boots."
"Oh please, I'd sooner love you more than I'd ever love those boots." I rolled my eyes, before stripping my sweatpants off.
"You know, I'm not gonna lie, Ashton. That stung."
"Yeah, yeah. Shut up and turn around. I gotta change my underwear." I replied, pulling a few pieces of clothing out of my drawer.
"Why?" He replied, furrowing his eyebrows and grimacing slightly.
"What, you want to go out for drinks with a man who hasn't changed his underwear in two days? That's disgusting. You're disgusting." I replied, instigating Luke enough for him to throw a shoe at me.
"No, I mean, fuck Ashton. You're stupid." He said, opening the door. "If you don't hurry I'm going to jizz on your hood."
"No, no! Save that for later, I wanna help."
