Jolene knew Gianni was avoiding her like the plague. He would never stay in the same room as her for long. The silence was painful.
Jolene put up a front for a solid two weeks. She played his game letting him ignore her until she wanted to know how he was doing after the recent shoot out she found out he was in. Ricardo was getting more desperate and more desperate meant careless.
Gianni threw his face into finding De Luca. He was going to leave it alone until the life of his child was placed in danger. He didn't bother speaking to Jolene because frankly he was tired of fighting. He wished he could just stop liking her because she was so much trouble. But his heart didn't care about her annoying attitude.
But he wouldn't be her stepping stool anymore. If she wanted him she had to do chase him for once. She knows where his head is at time for her to figure out where hers is.
That's how it played out. Vincent started treatment so Jolene didn't go to the prison as much since he was still being petty. Coming home to Gianni also ignoring her was adding fire to the fuel.
It got to a point where Jo actually tried to initiate conversation. Gianni wouldn't even look at her. He would hum and nod replies.
Jolene was getting frustrated with him. Especially sexually frustrated. Second trimester really messed with her brain clearly.
She swore she wasn't normally this attracted to Gianni. But she wanted him so bad everything he did turned her on.
The door opened and his heavy footsteps echoed through the home with little ones behind him. He probably got back from walking his annoying dog Joesph. Who even names their dog Joesph?
Joesph was such a bother. Jolene didn't know why he liked her so much. He was an attack dog but he always acted like a puppy for her and got his disgusting slob on her.
Gianni let Joesph off his leash before going to his study. Not bothering to look her way. Jolene tipped toed after him when he was out of sight. Joesph followed her whining. He wanted Jolene to pet him. Jolene waved her arms at him to shut him up.
He wasn't going to ruin her chance at getting some with his doggish behavior. "Go away Joesph!" She whisper yelled . Joesph cocked his head to the side She sighed and threw a pencil so that Joesph thought she wanted to play catch.
Gianni was on the phone speaking in Italian while doing paperwork and it drove her new hormones crazy. Even the blank looks of hate he gave her got her hot.
