The four of them sat across the table from each other. Gianni staring out the the window, Jolene playing with her fingers, Giulia staring at Gianni and Donatello staring at Jolene.

It was tense. And there was a lot to unpack.

"So is anyone going to talk because it took a lot of work to get to get him here." Jolene sighed in annoyance.

Donatello's eyebrows shot up in shock that she really dared to speak to him that way. "Don't mind her she's pregnant." Gianni said still looking out the window.

"Pregnant!" Giulia looked happy. Jolene side eyed her husband. "Yes I am pregnant. Thank you for the introduction husband."

"Just returning the favor my love." Gianni snipped back. The two grandparents watched them interact with curiosity. They sounded so angry with each other yet Jolene still had her hand interlocked with his as they rested on the table.

Jolene shot him a glare before facing the Don and Donna. "W-what's your name my love?" Giulia asked nervously. Gianni snorted but didn't say anything.

"It's Gianni Alessandro Giordano." Jolene answered. If Gianni wasn't going to speak he was just going to sit and listen. Jolene never was a patient woman and that wasn't going to change.

"Alessandro?" Donatello's face lit up just enough for Jolene to know he was honored. "That's my middle name." Gianni glanced at him but looked back at the window.

Jolene stared at her husband waiting for him to say something but he was staying firm. She huffed subtly rubbing her stomach.

"So let's get to the point since Gianni wants to be selectively mute." Jolene sighed. Gianni rolled his eyes. Donatello was starting to get annoyed with Gianni's attitude but refrained from saying anything.

"What's your name sweetie?" Giulia cleared her throat knowing she was going to cry again. "Jolene Ma-...Giordano." Jo stumbled still getting used to her new last name.

"When are you expecting? Is this your first child?" Giulia started to get excited about the fact that she was going to be a great grandmother. It gave her some positivity. She watched Jolene's harsh demeanor soften slightly as she looked down at her stomach briefly.

"Sometime in February most likely. And no we have a two year old son back home." Giulia was so excited "Bene bellasima! Motherhood looks good on you." Jolene was a tad bashful at that. "Grazie." She smiled quickly. Giulia when bakjf talking Jolene's ear off about the baby while Donatello and Gianni had a stare down.

Donatello opened his mouth to speak but Gianni scoffed and turned away from him. It hurt the older man greatly but it frustrated him more.

Gianni poured himself a drink and continued to be stubborn making Donatello slam his fists on the table. "What does it take!" He growled. Jo and Giulia jumped in surprise of the exclamation.

"What are you-"

"NO! I've had it with this. What will it take for you to hear us out with an open mind? You've seemed to already have a decision made about us. I hate it! What the hell did Luciano do to you?!" Donatello growled.

Gianni looked up slowly. And cocked his head to the side. "You really want to know how your precious children treated me?" Donatello nodded.

"Gianni-" Jolene placed her hand on his shoulder but Gianni shook his head. "No they want to know Jolene so I'm going to tell them."
