"Good morning, everyone! It is now 7am and nighttime is officially over! Time to rise and shine! Get ready to greet another beee-yutiful day!"

The morning announcement played. I climbed out of bed and got ready for the day. Another day in Hope's Peak, another day for someone to plan a murder.

I was about to leave when my door bell rang. Who could it be? And what do they want?

Slightly hesitant, I opened the door, to see Taka. He entered my room.

"Do you need something?"

"A fantastic morning, isn't it? No matter how intensely the stormy seas batter me, I will not fall as long as my feet are firmly planted! You agree, right? And if you can't do it alone, just find someone to support you, and you can support them back!"

Do I look like I need a motivational speech? "What is it, Taka?"

"I was thinking about it last night, and...I decided we really needed to get together."

Get together? I doubt just teamwork will solve this situation, but compiling our respective talents could help...

"Every morning from now on, after the morning announcement, everyone should have breakfast together! And now is the beginning of that fateful day! Please head to the dining hall at your earliest convenience! That is all! We shall be waiting for you!" He left, presumably to go tell others.

This isn't something I can skip, is it? Well...it's not that I'm unused to dealing with a strange group of people, but my so called 'classmates' are complete strangers, unlike my little group of criminals...Why am I thinking about those guys now? Don't tell me I miss them. They're all idiots. Well, Kaichi and Asumi are tolerable...

I thought for a while about my colleagues-my friends. A rare smile came to my face.

The smile dropped quickly, and I walked out of the door towards the dining hall. When I arrived, everyone else was already there.

"You're late! Tardiness is unacceptable!" Taka shouted.

"You said to come at my 'earliest convenience'. You didn't set a time for the meeting, therefore I am not late."

"I see! Sorry for my rudeness!" I ignored him and sat down.

"Okay, looks like everyone's here. So then, let's begin our very first 'breakfast meeting'. Everyone, thank you for making time in your busy schedules to come together."

"I didn't make time for shit. You dragged me here..." Leon complained. That's true. I only attended to maintain the image of a team player...

"I know I already mentioned this earlier, but...in order to get out of here, it is essential we all cooperate with each other. And the first step is this breakfast meeting, to allow us to become friends and build trust. So from now on, let's all meet here in the dining hall every morning after the morning announcement! Now then, let's eat!"

"You w-want me to eat breakfast with other p-people? I've never done that b-before. I'm not s-sure..." Toko said.

"Yeah, it's been a while for me, too," Leon added. The only time I eat meals with other people is when I'm undercover or when I get dragged out to dinner by Katsu. And Katsu isn't here, thankfully, so I'll pass.

"Well anyway...did anyone happen to come up with any clues?" Junko asked. Everyone was silent. "Seriously? Nothing at all?! Anything, it can be about how to get out, who's behind this, nobody has anything?"
