Anarchy (Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc)

Confrontation

Everyone arrived at the dining hall.

"Okay, ladies and gentlemen! How'd it go? Did anyone discover any interesting new anything?" Taka yelled.

"There's a library!" Hifumi answered.

"And a pool! A freakin' pool! And locker rooms filled with exercise equipment!" Hina added.

"There was not, however, anything resembling an escape route," Sakura said.

I'll participate in this conversation like normal...With no evidence, my theory is just a theory, and that's all it will be for now. No point making myself suspicious by telling them. Because then I'd have to tell everyone-including Kyoko-about my awkward family situation.

"Yeah...she's right..."

"Well hey, there's no reason to get all sulky! Wait till you here about my amazing discovery! The warehouse and bathhouse on the first floor of the dorms are now open!" Taka announced. "And the warehouse is chock-full of food, clothes, whatever you want. There's so much it's insane!"

"And weapons, most likely..." I interjected.

"Keep in mind, of course, that going out at nighttime is still prohibited. Please do not forget..." Celeste said.

"Okay, and what about a fuckin' way out of here? You find anything like that?"

"Oh, well...umm..." Taka and Mondo began arguing. Celeste tried to help, and made the situation worse.

"If someone had found an escape route, don't you think they'd have already told us?" I asked.

"So, are we done for today?" Kyoko asked.

"W-Well...yeah, I guess so," Taka answered.

People started to leave. I walked back to my dorm when someone spoke to me.

"Wait." It was Kyoko. I'm screwed, aren't I? Well, I guess I can use this as a chance to test my theory...

"Kyoko? What do you need?"

"We need to talk."

"Okay. What about?"

"Not here," she answered.

"Because of the security cameras or our fellow students? Who don't you want to hear this?" She didn't respond, instead walking into her dorm. I sighed and followed. "So you don't care if the mastermind eavesdrops?"

"You know something that the rest of us don't." How to answer this? She'll probably know if I'm lying...

"I do," I answered after a moments thought. "And?"

"What is it?"

"At the moment, just a theory with a very low chance of actually being true. Without anyway to prove o disprove it, I can only keep it in mind. In that case, there's no point telling the others. Does that answer your questions?"

"What is it?" she asked again. I glanced at her, seeing a glimmer of suspicion in her eyes.

"I'm not the mastermind, if that's what your thinking."

"Can you prove that?"

"Of course not."

*Ding Dong Bing Bong*

"Mm, ahem, this is a school announcement. It is now 10pm. As such, it is officially nighttime. Soon the doors to the Dining Hall will be locked, and entry at that point is strictly prohibited. Okay then...sweet dreams, everyone! Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite..." The nighttime announcement sounded.
