dear diary,
When the person we love changes, what should we do?
Should we ask them what the problem is? Should we help them become again the person they used to be? When a person changes, does it mean there is something wrong with them? Is it morally correct to try to change them?
Or should we stick around because this might be a phase in their life and it is a test of our love for them? Should we accept them as they are?
Is it okay to leave them? Is it alright to want to stop loving someone because they have changed a lot, because they are no more the person you fell in love with? Is a person changing reason enough for leaving them? Would it be betrayal?
