"This the house?" Alayjah, Johnicka's best friend, asked while pulling into the driveway of the home. "I thought she lived behind the hair store?"
"She do," Johnicka nodded. "But Nia told me her momma kicked her out so now she living with her cousin."
Alayjah surveyed the outside of the home and shook her head. Johnicka could sense that Alayjah was still unsure of what they were about to do, even though Johnicka tried to convince her many times that it was going to be fine.
"I don't know about this, Johnicka." Alayjah used her keys to turn off her car.
"Why are still second guessing this?" Johnicka asked her with a slight attitude.
"Fighting pregnant females is not the wave, and you know that."
Johnicka rolled her eyes and pressed the button on the seatbelt to take it off. Alayjah was getting on her nerves, acting like she was too pussy to pull up on Moniece.
Before this, Moniece and Johnicka spent their time going back and forth on social media. One thing led to another and Moniece told her that she was willing to fight her, pregnant and all.
Johnicka did some research, found out where she lived, and came there as fast as she could. She knew that Moniece's cousin, Kinsley, would most likely be there so Johnicka talked Alayjah into coming with her.
Johnicka opened the door to Alayjah's car and quickly hopped out the seat. She marched to the front door while ignoring Alayjah's yelling, telling her to get back into the car. Johnicka confidently knocked on the door.
A few moments passed before someone decided to open it. Johnicka sighed out of frustration when she seen Kinsley standing in the doorway. Johnicka was hoping Moniece would've opened the door since she wanted to do this as fast as possible.
"What you doing here?" Kinsley's eyebrows furrowed.
"She here, but you not about to come in he—" Johnicka bumped her shoulder as she walked inside their home, not caring to hear anything Kinsley had to say.
"Moniece, bitch, come yo' ass here!" Johnicka shouted.
"Get out my house!" Kinsley tried to grab her arm but Johnicka shrugged her off.
"Nah, not until I beat that hoe ass!" Johnicka yelled in her face.
"Why you show up to my house with this shit?" Johnicka turned her head, seeing Moniece standing with her hands on hips.
Her stomach was small, but you could still tell she was pregnant. From what Johnicka heard, she was about four months right now.
"Where all that energy you had on the internet?" Johnicka took the scrunchie from around her wrist to put her hair in a ponytail.
"Bitch, you started the shit." Moniece waved her pointed finger. "You wanted to be messy so I defended myself."
"That's cute, but now I wanna fight so wassup?"
Kinsley moved to stand in between them.
"Look if y'all wanna fight, cool. But, y'all ain't about to do the shit in my momma house and definitely not while your pregnant." She looked over to Moniece.
"I'm tired of arguing," Moniece spoke up.
"And I'm tired of fighting your cousin every time I wanna fight you." Johnicka replied.
"You mad because I'm pregnant and I get that," Moniece folded her arms. "But last time I checked, I don't owe you any loyalty."
Johnicka smacked her lips.
"So if you wanna be mad at somebody, be mad at yo' nigga."
Moniece's words infuriated Johnicka. However, as much as she didn't want to hear it, Johnicka knew it was true.
Over the time of their relationship, Johnicka grew exhausted of dealing with Daquan and all his drama. He was stressing her out and, as much as she loved him, she couldn't handle it anymore.
Maybe it was time to let the shit go and let God. If Daquan couldn't get his act together, Johnicka knew someone else eventually would.
Johnicka stepped out of the house before Moniece could respond.
When Johnicka got back in the car, Alayjah just stared at her.
"What did you d—" she tried to ask.
"Please take me home," Johnicka interrupted her.
Johnicka was praying that Alayjah didn't try to pry her on the situation that just went on. Lucky for Johnicka, she didn't.
Somehow, Alayjah understood that now wasn't the right time to grill her. That's one of things Johnicka appreciated about Alayjah. She knew her like the back of her hand.
Johnicka only wished she would've listened to Alayjah months ago when she told her that Daquan was no good for her. Unfortunately, when you're in love, common sense flies out of the window.

"That man never fails to scare the shit out of me," Pee Lee spoke after he and Hussein walked out the building. Keeno had just paid them for their work this week.
Hussein was a little annoyed since he had to keep reminding Pee Lee to stop laughing every twenty minutes. The dumbass took everything as a joke. As much as Hussein loved him, he wasn't about to lose his life behind a childish little boy.
Keeno tolerated them and allowed the boys to get away with some things since they were so young. Hussein could tell, however, his patience was wearing thin with Pee Lee.
This was a dangerous business and Pee Lee was only proving he couldn't handle it.
"I couldn't tell," Hussein unlocked his car with his keys so they both could get in. "Yo' ass kept laughing the whole time."
"That's only because Keeno had this fat ass booger in his nose," Pee Lee let out a small giggle. "Plus, I laugh when I'm nervous."
"Yeah, that's all cool and dandy but you already know who you dealing with." Hussein ran his hand over his head. "Keeno don't play that shit."
Pee Lee only nodded as Hussein proceeded to start the car.
