A month had passed since Lydia had seen Nik again. Rebekah had been calling Lydia over and over again begging her to go back to school with her. Lydia always said no because she didn't want to see Nik, but the truth was she didn't want to see Caroline. Caroline had been texting Lydia all sorts of nasty things about her activities in the woods and in Nik's bed with Nik. Lydia was over it and knew that if she ever saw her again she'd kill her. She began to spend more and more time with Steve. He began going with her to her recording studio things more and watching shows with her and having more work out competitions with her.
Lydia woke up in the recliner on top of Steve to her phone ringing.
"Hello?" Lydia answered.
"Will you go to school with me, please?" Rebekah begged.
Steve sat up with Lydia.
"Becky it's five in the morning," Lydia replied.
"Well, I was going to give you time to do your morning work out and shower and hair and makeup..." Rebekah said.
"I'll work out with you if you go," Steve mumbled.
"Fine," Lydia sighed.
"Really?" Rebekah asked, her voice becoming excited.
"Yeah, I'll be there to pick you up at 7:50," Lydia said.
"School starts at 8:10," Rebekah replied.
"I'll be at your house at 8," Lydia replied before hanging up.
Lydia and Steve got up, worked out, took separate showers, and got Lydia ready for school.

"Have fun at school," Steve smiled, handing Lydia a bagged lunch.
"Wow," Lydia smiled, "that's the most adorable thing I've ever seen. You packed me a lunch."
Steve shrugged and smirked.
Lydia chucked, told him thank you, and walked out the door and drove away to Mystic Falls in her Jeep.
"Are you two a thing now?" Tony asked.
"Hmm?"
"You were both asleep together on the recliner and you just helped her get ready for school and you're telling me she isn't your girlfriend yet?"
"We aren't dating," Steve replied.
Tony raised his eyebrows.
"We aren't!" Steve half yelled truthfully.
Lydia pulled up to the Mikaelson house to see Nik sitting on the porch. Their eyes met and widened. Lydia honked twice and Rebekah came running out of the house and into the Jeep and Lydia sped away.
